Translation of excerpt from vol. 29:[1] (as linked from the Mei Zhu article) One day Liu Chang left the palace alone. He, by chance, walked in front of an antique store. He saw that sitting at the counter was a young woman, whose skin was slightly dark, whose body was full-formed, but who showed attitudes akin to a succubus between her brows and her eyes. He saw her and was attracted to her, so he walked up to her and began smalltalk with her. This woman saw the unfamiliar man, but, without shame, started talking with Liu Chang. Liu Chang found out that she was the daughter of a Persian merchant. He also saw that she was fluid in her speech and highly intelligent, and he had much favor for her. The next day, he issued an edict, summoning this Persian woman into his palace. Unknown to others, this Persian woman was not only intelligent, but also very lustful.
