- This one confuses me. While this one would technically be notable, it served as a midseason replacement for the Waco Pirates who don't have an article. - Keep - As a fully professional team in minor league baseball, I am confident that the team received enough coverage in local press, and possibly coverage in national sports papers such as the Sporting News, to meet WP's notability requirements. BTW, I'm generally not in favor of merging articles on minor league teams that played in different locations, since article readers are usually looking for information on teams that played in a specific city or locale. Since this team spent most of the season in Longview, I'd rather see a short article on the Longview team than a sentence in an article on the Waco team. - Yea, but in this case its the same team... The Waco team wasnt able to play that season because of the tornado so they temporarily moved to Longview to finish the year and then moved back to Waco the next season. 01:22, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
- Ok, but the tornado occurred in May, so the team spent most of the season in Longview and I think it had a separate identity there. (The cities aren't close enough for fans from Waco to easily games in Longview.) I'd still prefer a separate article, though I'm not going to fight against consensus.
