Delete as all of the important figures seem to be listed at List of Middle-earth characters. I would be fine with a very, very selective merge if an editor found somebody important I missed, but I think the list of Middle-earth characters hits all the important highlights. - Keep Many of these characters were actually published in major works like The Silmarillion, Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. As to migrating the page, Tolkien Gateway is the most comprehensive topical wiki I know of, but unfortunately it comes only with a GFDL licence.     - Comment Two points: The Silmarillion is only major in the sense of its vast length (the concept was nowhere near completion when Tolkien died), and we need mentions in secondary sources in addition to the primary sources in order to demonstrate notability. Delete. This topic is non-notable per the requirements of WP:LISTN. I don't think a merger to List of Middle-earth characters is appropriate. The entries of this list are either (a) non-notable, so ineligible for inclusion on List of Middle-earth characters, or (b) already included on List of Middle-earth characters. Further, I don't think a redirect would be useful. Deleting the page and simply removing the incoming wikilinks to List of Middle-earth Elves (most of which are section links to non-notable individuals) is a better solution.
