Was prodded in 2010 but prod was removed. This bill got scant attention in technology circles, but does not appear to have even made it to a committee vote, let alone get to the floor of any chamber of the United States government. As the bill was proposed over 8 years ago, it is no longer pending or relevant, and there is no obvious place to merge the minimal relevant information in the article (an article that reads more like a term paper on intellectual property and law than an encyclopedia article on the topic).
