Comment Not to sound inflammatory by citing all these policies and such, but Wikipedia referencing itself creates black holes. -Falcon8765 (talk) 04:45, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Speedy Keep There is a full obituary on him in the New york Times [1] -- and it is used as the reference in the article! That is unquestionably sufficient for notability. There will obviously be a good deal more to find--the nom should have followed WP:BEFORE--but this would have been sufficient by itself. The Kimball WP article mention that a full biographic book was written about him: checking, it is [2]. LC catalog also shows about 12 publications written by him. A UW Law School Center was named after him. He gave the death penalty to LSU football for one year. [3] 121 Items in Google News Archive [4]. DGG (talk) 06:29, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Withdrawn I wasn't sure of notability on the article's first creation, so I tagged it and put a WP:PROD on it and was insulted by the article author instead. -Falcon8765 (talk) 08:08, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
