  • Comment highest level of football is not always notable because it's not always fully-professional as WP:ATHLETE criteria states. I agree it will depend on the country, but I would say it's a reasonable premise (as a rule) for all European and South American top-level leagues due to the increased exposure and stature, and notably the continental competitions. Eldumpo (talk) 13:32, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
