Redirect to Pectoral_cross#Roman_Catholic_practice, and possible merge from history, but I'm not sure if there is much there to merge. Many motu proprio are in fact notable (see Summorum Pontificum for the most notable one of this century), but this one does not appear to be, which was actually somewhat shocking to me: reforms of the cardinialite are typically very well documented in both religious and the secular press, but I don't find that here. The reform is significant in some ways, as it can be interpreted in retrospect a move towards a uniformly episcopal College of Cardinals, but at the end of the day, it is just about the clothing choices of the most notable class of clerics in the church.
