The result was Keep. (non-admin closure) RayTalk 23:07, 10 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Delete as lacking in depth coverage in reliable sources. The only refs are the subjects' book and an article that quotes the book, without commenting on the reliability of either the book or the author. Disclaimer: I was original PROD'er. Weak keepNot sure(edit !vote per further commentary) - a normal Google searched turned up not much at all. But a GoogleBooks search of the subject's name in quotation marks brings up pages and pages of results. There are a number of citations of his book and a number of passing mentions of him. The rest are covers-only entries so there's no way of knowing. But I have concerns about calling anyone with that many ghits non-notable without more investigation/consideration. Keep he is an often cited authority in his field, and seems to pass the requirments for articles on academics.John Pack Lambert (talk) 01:54, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Have you got examples of those citations? That was my impression, too, but I just couldn't verify as much. Stalwart111 02:56, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Keep His study on Fresno-Armenians is the foremost study on the community. His book is cited by many other academicians. Just typing Berge Bulbulian in Google books yields dozens if not hundreds of results. Proudbolsahye (talk) 07:42, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Keep - for notability in US Armenian community history (can nom name a more notable historian of California's Armenian community?) ...that's without counting the WP CALIFORNIA side of notability, per dozens of refs in Congress hearing committees as president of a grassroots land group of 1000 members during the 1970s.
