100 Players Who Shook The Kop[edit]

This is a list created by a poll, and therefore not an objective list of statistics. That makes this the intellectual property of the football club, and therefore a copyright violation. I discussed this at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions and was pointed to [1], which specifically discusses such content, and which says any list whose selection is based primarily on editorial opinion (rather than say statistics or geography) is considered to have that minimal spark of creativity necessary for copyright Corvus cornix_talk 21:30, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Delete - Delete as copyvio. The compiled list is copyrighted. The name "100 Players Who Shook The Kop" probably is a trademark of liverpoolfc.tv. As for the notability of the topic, there are about six news articles discussing the list10/11/2007. Most of them discuss the list in the context of a specific player (e.g., Alan Kennedy was at 31 in the '100 Players Who Shook The Kop' last year, David Fairclough was voted 18th on the 2006 poll of 100 Players Who Shook The Kop conducted by the official website, and in a poll to find '100 players Who Shook The Kop', Neil Mellor's name appears alongside Kevin Keegan, Ian Rush, Emlyn Hughes and Alan Hansen.)
