American poet (born 1937)
Walker Dabney Stuart III (born November 4, 1937 Richmond, Virginia) is an American poet.[1]
He graduated from Davidson College, with a BA in English in 1960, and from Harvard University, with an MA in English in 1962.

He is professor emeritus of English at Washington and Lee University.[3]
His work appeared in Poetry,[4] Shenandoah, Southern Review, and Yale Review.
