Valeri Klementiev (5 August 1946 – 7 April 1971) was an international speedway rider from the Soviet Union.[1]
Klementiev became a European Champion, after winning the gold medal at the 1969 European Final. He also reached the final of the Speedway World Championship in the 1969 Individual Speedway World Championship.[2]
Klemetiev won the silver medal at the Soviet Union championship in 1969[3] and also won the European final in 1969.
He was killed at a young age during a race on 7 April 1971 in Russia.[4]
