Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Asilvering was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Ok, I'm not seeing any qualifying coverage here. Is there any biographical work about Pampalone? For "her work has been referenced in books and academic journals", if that's all you mean (it has been cited), that's not particularly important or helpful to establish notability. But if you mean "her work has been discussed", as in "is the topic of discussion", that would be helpful - if that kind of coverage exists, please cite the specific page numbers/ranges that are relevant rather than just putting in a footnote to an entire book or scholarly article.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:Tanya Pampalone and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.
If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it will be considered abandoned and may be deleted.

Thank you. I have mentioned this in all the talk areas that, as I journalist, I have contributed articles for two independent groups that I work with. I also have mentioned this in my own profile space. Are there other places that I should be posting this? Thank you. Wofoz (talk) 21:32, 12 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there. I see you have written that I did not disclose my COI, but I have. I did totally screw up by putting in the revise improperly. But I did disclose my COI on my user page, the talk page and the edit page. I'd really appreciate if you could correct that. Thank you. Wofoz (talk) 20:21, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. I work for the Bhekisisa Centre for Health Journalism, which is based in South Africa. I would like to help clear up issues on this page, and the page of founder and editor Mia Malan, in a transparent and helpful manner. It seems to be a "protected" page and, since you have made many of the edits, I'm asking for your help. Bhekisisa is a respected journalism institution in South Africa and globally for our work. We are deeply concerned about the status of these pages. Wikipedia editors who specialise in South African journalism or health who are based in South Africa or with knowledge of the media and/or health environment in the country would be able to confirm and assist with improving this page. Of course, I understand you can't take our word for this because of my clear COI, which I have stated in what I believe are all the required places. We would like to follow all Wikipedia protocol to correct as many issues as possible. But, because the page is protected, we are unsure how to even make these suggestions for review. We are unsure on how to even contribute to a talk area where we can provide any further information or sources to show this. We sincerely appreciate your guidance. Thank you Wofoz (talk) 18:19, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Timtrent was:
Oh dear. "s the GuptaLeaks.[6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14] " and others are prime examples of WP:CITEKILL. Instead we need one excellent reference per fact asserted. If you are sure it is beneficial, two, and at an absolute maximum, three. A fact you assert, once verified in a reliable source, is verified. More is gilding the lily. Please choose the very best in each case of multiple referencing for a single point and either drop or repurpose the remainder.
That cannot be reviewed until you have sorted out the cite kill, because we cannto know. which references you choose
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Hi there. I am trying to resubmit with my edit, removing the too many citations comment, but I'm not sure this is saving properly! The option I have is to "publish" but I am afraid to hit that as I don't want this to go live. Thanks for your help with this. Wofoz (talk) 20:52, 29 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
OK, any edits to change citations didn't happen. I'm gong to revert the one you saved as an error. Take your tie, there is no rush. Preview before saving, and you will see what WILL be saved when you save it 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrentFaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 21:15, 29 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
OK, undone. Now edit carefully and slowly. You can save work in progress as you go. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrentFaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 21:16, 29 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yay for me! Thanks for your help Wofoz (talk) 21:40, 29 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
pssst! Shh, no-one can hear us. You have to actually resubmit it. The big pink box at the head of that page has a resubmit button in the bottom left hand corner. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrentFaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 21:42, 29 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Perfect. Wikipedia takes a little getting the hang of.
Your hardest task will be writing dull-but-worthy and well referenced prose, whereas in your working life you are used to grabbing the reader's attention.
Remember, always start with the references. We write in our words what has been said by others in reliable secondary sources that are independent of the subject. This essay is one of many, and there is a process within it that will help you to get results. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrentFaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 21:49, 29 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
