Greetings, UselessToRemain. Thanks for your recent work on articles related to the New Riders. "P.S." You might have noticed this already, but I posted on a discussion page section that you started, at Talk:New Riders of the Purple Sage#websites/years active/associated acts. Feel free to reply there. — Mudwater (Talk) 00:08, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

It looks like you took the band members section out of the NRPS navbox. Why'd you do that? I think the navbox is a lot better with the members left in. :) — Mudwater (Talk) 23:34, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
I love you!

Hello UTR. Nice work on creating the navboxes for the members of the Grateful Dead. They look really good. :-) I do have a suggestion about which articles to put them on. The purpose of a navbox is to allow the readers to easily see the articles about a particular subject, and navigate between those articles with just a click or two. So I strongly recommend this rule of thumb: Each navbox should be placed on any article that it has a link to, and it should not be placed on any article that it does not have a link to. For example, the navboxes for Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, and Bill Kreutzmann do not contain links to Dick's Picks Volume 36 -- nor should they! -- and so they should not be included in that article, or in any similar articles. I admit that this guideline is not followed universally, so it's possible to find exceptions, but that's definitely what I recommend, and I believe most editors would agree with me. (If you reply here, I will see what you say.) — Mudwater (Talk) 00:33, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
Hi UTR. I'm not sure if Gloria Jones, the subject of the Wikipedia article, is the same Gloria Jones who was in the Jerry Garcia Band. The article doesn't say anything about the Jerry Garcia Band, and neither does her biography on Allmusic. I'm guessing that they're two different people. I raised this question at Talk:Gloria Jones#Jerry Garcia Band?, but no one answered. I'm mentioning it now because I noticed that you included her in the Jerry Garcia Band navbox. — Mudwater (Talk) 20:42, 19 July 2012 (UTC)

Greetings, I just had to say, what a great username you picked! Sometimes I'm torn between wanting to steal yours, or that of User:Wasted Time R! But seriously, have you been editing long? If not, I'd be happy to assist you; I work on biographies of musicians, primarily rock, Alternative rock, Blues rock, Blues, Jazz fusion, Americana, Jazz, and most other forms with the exception of: Opera, Classical music, and a lot of rap and Hip-hop music, since I'm a bit older than the 20 year olds and they cover the MTV generation's music for the most part. My specialties are those of guitarists (esp. slide guitarists) and finding photographs for those articles, convincing and teaching photographers to convert to the Creative Commons licenses we accept, and uploading them to Wikimedia Commons; placing them in the Wikipedia (sometimes in several languages). Maybe we can help each other? Just a thought. Please answer me on my talk page, even if you are not interested! Thanks. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 15:39, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
