SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. We appreciate that you have signed up to receive suggestions regularly; your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping!
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please let us know on SuggestBot's talk page. Regards from Nettrom (talk), SuggestBot's caretaker. -- SuggestBot (talk) 13:02, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
Hi, I notice you're on Wikipedia:List of administrator hopefuls. Wikipedia would benefit from more admins. If you have been editing for more than 12 months (preferably 24+ months), and have been editing fairly consistently for the past 6 months (preferably 12+ months) with at least 100 edits a month (this tool will help) - or an explanation for any gaps, and haven't been blocked in the past three years - or a good explanation for a recent block, don't have a recent history of edit warring or arguing with other editors, feel you can explain why you wish to be an admin, can demonstrate some understanding of Wikipedia's procedures and processes, or know where to go for guidance, and are confident enough to go through a RfA, please get in touch with me. We can talk about it some more, and if all looks OK, I'll nominate you. SilkTork ✔Tea time 09:37, 31 August 2015 (UTC)
I understand your reluctance to go through the RfA process. No promises to anything as I've not looked closely at your contributions, but I do like that you are willing to put yourself forward as an admin, so I'm happy to give you support, honest opinion, and advice when you're ready. Regards SilkTork ✔Tea time 09:35, 10 September 2015 (UTC)
Sending this to all active editors who were involved in that AfD, see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Siege of Kapisa (2nd nomination). Doug Weller (talk) 11:42, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
Hi there: this seems to have not quite worked. Fancy another go, please? Cheers DBaK (talk) 19:15, 15 September 2015 (UTC)
As ArbCom (PBUI) bans me from reverting on the grounds of WP:BLP no matter how egregious the violations -- while those who seek to violate the policy are thus immune from my evil depredations on articles. :( Collect (talk) 13:31, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
Hi Mike,
Thanks for your reply, but I am a little confused.
Why are there lists of groups on this page List of animal rights groups ?
Can we not make people aware of our group so they can join if they live in the area?
What is this page for?
Many thanks, --Wendywoo70 (talk) 15:05, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
Hi UkExpat,
Thanks for your help on the Association of Zinfandel Advocates and Producers page. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zinfandel_Advocates_and_Producers We are working on it and should have great revisions up in a day or two. We are new to Wikipedia and are learning as we go.
For your reference, this is our most current draft. As you will see we are a notable organization and ask that we have a few more days before deletion.
Best regards,

The Zinfandel Advocates and Producers (ZAP) is a consortium of over 200 winemakers and grape growers, as well as thousands of consumers, dedicated to advocating, preserving, and educating about the Zinfandel grape. Started in 1991, the unique organizational structure of combining wine enthusiasts with wine producers served as a successful template for other wine-related organizations, such as the Rhone Rangers. ZAP is the largest single wine varietal organization in the world (need source or will delete) The organization’s primary activities are: 1) The Heritage Zinfandel Project, a collaboration with the UC Davis enology department which is dedicated to preserving Zinfandel vines from historic vineyards, identifying the various Zinfandel selections, helping wineries obtain cuttings from the unique Zinfandel selections, and researching growing differentiations in multiple locations. 2) A series of seminars and wine tastings, known as The Zinfandel Experience, which attracts thousands of participants to San Francisco each year. 3) Local and regional seminars, tastings and wine events across the USA, 4) Acting as an active resource for media information and research on Zinfandel. 5) Partnering with the Historic Vineyard Society to preserve and protect old vineyards from being destroyed or neglected. 6) Advocating legislation for recognition of Zinfandel as America’s Heritage grape. 7) ZAP funds a scholarship at Sonoma State University for wine MBA students. Press Democrat 9/5/2010 Sonoma State website History of ZAP A small group of winemakers started producing high quality red Zinfandel in the 1980s that was developing a dedicated following among wine consumers. In 1992 a group of 22 Zinfandel winemakers formed the new organization called Zinfandel Advocates and Producers and held a tasting at the Mandarin Hotel in San Francisco (Sullivan, pg.130). Some of these early vintners included Paul Draper at Ridge, Joel Peterson of Ravenswood, Rod Berglund of Joseph Swan, Robert Biale of Robert Biale Vineyards, Kent Rosenblum of Rosenblum Cellars and others (any additions here?). The public tasting in San Francisco became an annual event, later moving to Fort Mason and became known as ZAP’s Zinfandel Festival. It expanded into 4 days of seminars and events with the main tasting attracting over 10,000 wine consumers. As ZAP grew into a larger organization that attracted media attention from all over the world, the scope of their mission expanded into the various activities mentioned above. Want to add a little more, even though it would be redundant with other sections; Zinposium 2001? Charles Sullivan book. Austin Chronicle 4/20/2001. (any others we want to mention?) These tastings allowed wine consumers the opportunity to meet Zinfandel winemakers and learn more about the grape. One of the more unique tastings was conducted in 2003 in a dedicated lounge car on the Amtrak Acela at over 150mph as traveled from Washington DC to New York City. The first attempt at introducing legislation took place in 1999 with an effort by Congressman Mike Thompson of California’s Fifth District to designate the last week in January each year as National Zinfandel Week. A group of 50 ZAP members flew to Washington DC in July 1999 and were invited to host a Zinfandel tasting for Congressional members and staff in the Capitol building. The legislation did not garner the necessary votes to pass. The next effort at legislation by ZAP was in 2006 to designate Zinfandel as the “official wine of California”. A bill was introduced by California Senator Carole Migden, but ultimately was vetoed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger due to pressure from wineries producing more well-known grapes, including Cabernet Sauvigon, Merlot and Chardonnay. Hi, I received your messages about the images on the page--the Governor's Proclamation, presented to CAMA in 2014, the selection of brochures published by CAMA, and the image of Gov. Bruce Babbitt signing a proclamation in 1982. When I went to the page, I didn't find the notification "Contest this speedy deletion" anywhere on the page. Where do I find this? And, if I decide to just dump the images, do I go back into the edit mode and delete them? I am in utter defeat since I thought I had gone through all the proper channels to be sure I had permission to use these images.
And, I'm still being referred to as Camamember as a user name as well as Fiberartist42. I'm absolutely certain I filled out the proper form to make that change and that it went through since I am now logging in as Fiberartist42.
I'm feeling very confused and dejected.

Hi, I personally took the photos of the old CAMA brochures, the CAMA materials publicizing the International Museum Day, and the 2014 CAMA Governor's Proclamation for the organization to use on the Wiki page. The printed materials were published by CAMA and disseminated to the public in brochure racks over the years. Since CAMA Presidents serve only two-year terms, would the current President be accepted as a granter of permission to use the images?

I was just summarizing the NY Times article when I wrote "Kullman's retirement was announced by DuPont on October 5, 2015 following a battle with activist investor Nelson Peltz and Trian Fund Management, his investment firm. Peltz sought 4 board seats and argued that DuPont needed to cut costs and meet financial targets, but had lost a shareholder vote earlier in the year." They went into great detail about this.. I think I'll put it back in, we should stick to what the sources say. Smallbones(smalltalk) 02:14, 6 October 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
I saw that you policed my page. Thank you for checking it out. I am trying to get a page published about me and my work. I think I did everything right and by the book. I posted a draft on my sandbox and I requested an article to be published here:

Hi there. Regarding this comment, I'm trying to assume good faith, but the editor seems to be turning every interaction with people who try to help into a battle so I'm inclined to agree with your assessment. Cordless Larry (talk) 16:15, 15 October 2015 (UTC)

I did not realize that links could not be use for documentation. The links do not play or advertise the song, they document that it had been sung at various nationl events, including the 2004 March For Women's Lives in Washington DC. As far as I can see, almost none of the other songs are used in the Women's Movement and at NOW Conferences, rallies, etc. so I added "Remember Rose." If I remove the links could the song stay on. And also, how do you document if not with reference links? Thanks, Sandy Rapp — Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.17.37.170 (talk) 17:57, 21 October 2015 (UTC)
