Hi, I wanted to drop you a note in addition to the template above. I see from your talkpage that you are a gallery director from Chicago - if you are related in any way to the Chicago gallery that was the subject of the article you were editing, you should be aware of our policies and guidelines around editing with a conflict of interest. It's not forbidden, but there are certain steps you have to take. Also, if you are removing sourced content, at the very minimum you should provide a descriptive edit summary that explains why you are doing it; similarly, if you add content, you should provide a reliable source that readers can refer to in order to verify the information. Thank you for your recent contributions, such as Draft:Sandbox. Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft of your article in draftspace or in your userspace first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, with less risk of deletion. Do make sure you also read help available to you, including Your First Article and the Tutorial. You might also like to try the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version. Hello Tupisthree! Your additions to List of monuments and memorials to women's suffrage have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

• You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution.
