Hello ТимофейЛееСуда. Regarding File:Art sign 1.jpg and File:Art sign 2.jpg. I had forgotten all about those images. They were uploaded for use in a question on the Reference Desk. Since that was nearly four years ago and the question has long been archived and forgotten, I guess it doesn't matter what happens to the images. Thank you for your concern. → Michael J Ⓣ Ⓒ Ⓜ 08:09, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
Hey :). You're being contacted because you are involved in the ACC process, or participated in the original discussion in '08 about the ConfirmAccount extension. This is a note to let you know that we are seeking opinions on switching this extension on, effectively making the ACC process via the Toolserver redundant. You can read all the details here; I would be very grateful if people would indicate how they feel about the idea :). Thanks! Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 13:14, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
Hello ТимофейЛееСуда. Regarding The Wikipedia page "User talk:Skyphoenix6" has been changed on 18 April 2012 by ТимофейЛееСуда, with the edit summary: Notification: tagging for deletion of File:Vihuela1954Text2.jpg.(TW). These are all of the owners images, we own these images and have allowed public use. Please do not delete. I have added a description to the image. Thank you for your concern. ;→ SkyPhoenix 6 ⓉⒸ

The problem with the link from Facebook is that it's too small: 604×403 pixels, while File:London-dreams-Vipul-Man-behind-the-movie-fabriqate.jpg is 640×427 pixels. I don't think there's really any way to get these G12 speedied. Perhaps you could just take them to WP:PUF? The appearance of comparable images on multiple other pages on dates and sizes not too far removed from the ones here isn't conclusive proof, but I'd guess that it's likely enough that a PUF would result in deletion. Who knows; someone at PUF might even find the originals online at a website you've not found yet. Nyttend (talk) 14:40, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
Please see the discussion page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Files_for_deletion/2012_April_27#File:Mschmidt.jpg) of the deletion of this image: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Mschmidt.jpg Thank you much! --Genya Avocado (talk) 04:13, 30 April 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for participating in the January 2012 MTC Drive. The drive was a big success. As a result of the drive thousands of files was transferred and many files was nominated for deletion because of copyright issues or because they were not usable. For your big work transferring files to Commons you are hereby awarded this barnstar. Cloudbound (talk) 20:02, 27 April 2012 (UTC) And finally... as you finished on the leaderboard for the January 2012 MTC Drive with 406 transfers, you have well and truly earned the Transfer to Commons Drive Leaderboard Barnstar. Thank you for all your efforts. With luck backlog drives will become a thing of the past. Cloudbound (talk) 21:20, 29 April 2012 (UTC) |
You have targeted a whole load of images I spent a long time creating entirely by myself. You have over zealously targeted them for deletion. I am outraged and disgusted by this Luddite behaviour. I dont know what I have to do to make them accceptable to these self appointed and uncontrolled little policemen. Hand back your Barnstars. Aetheling1125 08:19, 30 April 2012 (UTC)
Thanks, feel free to update it or delete it. I am not going to be able to update any maps till next month. Cadenas2008 (talk) 06:06, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
Just noticed its an old map, that really needs to be updated or replaced. Thanks for pointing that out! Cadenas2008 (talk) 06:09, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
Hi, I wanted to let you know I removed your file for deletion nomination from File:Grandma3.jpg. It appears you never completed the nomination process. Thought you may want to renominate it. Monty845 18:24, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
I saw that you placed a "watermark" tag on some of my images: File:T-Bird Cage Theatre.jpg. Are you referring to the date on the lower right hand side which tells when I took the picture? Just wanted to know. Tony the Marine (talk) 19:03, 16 June 2012 (UTC).

I would appreciate it if you didn't post templated messages on my talk page. Surely, if you have enough spare time in your life to edit on Wikipedia, you coul spare a minute or two to talk to me like a normal human being. I'm not the only one who finds it disrespectful to post templates on other people's talk pages. When I see your signature at the end of a message, I expect to see something you wrote. Please consider that next time you post on my talk page. Thank you, Feedback ☎ 18:01, 16 November 2012 (UTC)

Hi there! Thank you for your hard work on the Vernon C. Bain Correctional Center article. I just reviewed the nomination at DYK, and have some comments over there. Peace, groupuscule (talk) 23:04, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
This has happened to me: When you are signing, the links in your signature don't match the same ones as the account that made the post. This post is from my alt account Ihaveamac-alt, and my main is Ihaveamac. My signature has links to my main, but not my alt, so SineBot signed me a few times. Your signature links to ТимофейЛееСуда while the edit was from THMOPENREECYRA. You can add ((NoAutosign))
to User talk:THMOPENREECYRA (might still work even though it's a redirect) and SineBot will ignore your comments. ~ihaveamac [talk|contribs] 05:10, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
![]() | On 3 December 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Vernon C. Bain Correctional Center, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that New York City's Department of Correction has used boats as prisons on at least five occasions including the Vernon C. Bain Correctional Center (pictured)? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Vernon C. Bain Correctional Center. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. You can do one-day statistics, but subtracting an average per-day view of two days makes numbers more accurate. For example, The Day of dyk - (Day before + Day After)/2 = Total. Even when an article reaches 5,000 views in one day, the average may affect those numbers. Got it? --George Ho (talk) 00:34, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
Thanks! :D It's no problem. Hopefully I can keep the watermark and borders categories as low as I can. Del♉sion23 (talk) 22:55, 16 February 2013 (UTC)

With all due respect, your deletion nominations at Wikipedia:Files for deletion/2013 February 23 shows how out of touch with the rules you are. For many of the images you nominated, they are all free, as labelled by the uploader. I won't talk about those with questionable sources, but for those whose uploaders have specifically mentioned that they are released on public domain, please understand that the WP:NFCC rules on non-orphan images and notability only applies to non-free images, not free images. Just as well, there is nothing in the image use policy that says that such rules of the need to be notable and the need to be used in more than one article applies to free images. There is nothing in WP:CSD#Files that calls for the above rules to apply to public domain images as well. This reason is obvious: because free images are allowed to be freely used in the userspace, by users on their own user and talk pages, as and how they like, because they are completely free.
I suggest that you familiarise yourself with the rules of Wikipedia before you start voting, nominating, or even counselling me on what is right and wrong. Optakeover(Talk) 16:37, 28 February 2013 (UTC)

Thank you my friend for correcting those faulty checks of mine! I am very, very new to the File namespace and am zealously learning all the rules as I come up against them. Sadly, trial and error is still the way I learn best - how great that smarter people than I often spot me making a merry mess! I am sorry to make you more work. I hope to become more familiar with procedure and avoid possible mistakes in the future! All the best. Cheers! -The Illusive Man (T.I.M(Contact) 02:30, 1 May 2013 (UTC))
Hello, On Tue, 30th April 2013, I saw that someone approved the file upload, but on 1st May 2013, I see that you have declined the request stating "The license on the Flickr page (where the owner of the photo posted it) is what needed to be changed." Once I have requested the owner to change file's license in Flickr, then again I have to re-request the File For Upload process? Regards. -- Dhurbaba. 8:29 AM, 1st May 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for your response. The owner of the photo (http://www.flickr.com/photos/95139912@N02/8670003379/in/photostream) has changed the file's license to CC BY-SA 2.0. Thanks again, Dhurbaba. 18:51, May 1, 2013 (UTC)

Hello ТимофейЛееСуда, I'm Kevjonesin. I noticed that you'd flagged File:Polkinghorne.hood1.JPG for deletion. As this comes so soon after I edited the image (I obscured the plate #'s) and removed the ((cleanup)) template I'm led to wonder if it's merely a coincidence or if my interacting with the file somehow made it show up on another list/category which brought it to your attention. I'd found it on a list of images flagged for editing. Anyway, it's of interest to me because I'd prefer, in the future, to avoid editing images that are likely to be deleted soon after. : } --Kevjonesin (talk) 22:01, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
Is there a reason why you don't tag the talk page of the uploaded files with ((subst:WPAFCF))? Armbrust The Homunculus 05:33, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading File:James Walter.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as ((non-free fair use)) or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Armbrust The Homunculus 15:20, 29 May 2013 (UTC)

Template:Blank Label has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for discussion page. LukeSurl t c 10:03, 20 July 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading File:Port Vale FC 2013.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 08:23, 22 July 2013 (UTC)
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Rick Austin (politician), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Demorest (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Keri (talk) 00:14, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
