Hi StephanNaro, I see that you are presently working on the navigation template for the Year in South Africa series of articles (and note that currently the links do not work from one year to the next in the series, which presumably you are working on rectifying). One point I would mention is what appears to be the use throughout the series of the current South African flag. This flag was only adopted in April 1994, for earlier years I believe that the appropriate flag, in particular, as detailed in the article Flag of South Africa, should be used. This may well have been your intention in any case and, if so, I apologies for being presumptive. Well done on all your hard work regarding this series. Davshul (talk) 17:11, 14 June 2011 (UTC)
In Template:Year in South Africa, where the parameter is "1600s" or "1700s" or the like, the title line of the box should link to 1600–1609 (or whatever) in South Africa, not to "1600s", which is a disambiguation page. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 20:18, 13 October 2011 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
