you'll have new user pages to read through. things to learn, things to assimilate, much to take on in a short space, so I'll not badger.
I've edited, you had refs at the top, both named and using that name, so they weren't in a paragraph next to some text where they could be referenced. same at the end, refs used a lot, but not in the text.
dates should be dmy for Australian entries, don't short date, did you mean 1918 or 2018, are you in America do you mean july 4th or April 7th, 4/7/18, use 4th July 2018. Dave Rave (talk) 08:43, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

to make a good text addition but muck up the refs, is not bad for a newby but certainly not desirable. but then you'll have to learn about user pages and making test edits in a safe space. and being critiqued and pointed at endless help pages. it's a lot to read. try a safe space to play, User:Rwetsteyn/Glenbrook Lagoon Dave Rave (talk) 08:45, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
