Welcome to Wikipedia. I have noticed that some of your recent genre changes have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you to seek consensus for certain edits. Thank you. --IllaZilla (talk) 17:35, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading File:311 Love Song.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for uploading File:Jade_MK9.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. feydey (talk) 15:04, 16 October 2011 (UTC)
The problem with articles like Elena is that sometimes sources end up overlooked no matter what...but it doesn't help that nobody actually bothers to put those sources up until the article is being merged or they actively care about it. The one you did work into there though did have something of significance to say at least, and fleshing things out did make the reception section better.
Now if we can do the same for Lili I think we'll all be happy. :\--Kung Fu Man (talk) 03:55, 4 November 2011 (UTC)

Issued in February 1994, Dookie would spawn five hit singles — 'Longview', 'Welcome To Paradise' (a re‐recording of a track on Kerplunk), 'Basket Case', 'When I Come Around' and 'She' — and, with worldwide sales of over 16 million units, would prove to be the group's most popular work, while establishing them at the forefront of the neo-punk scene.

Your recent editing history at Green Day shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. STATic message me! 18:58, 5 August 2013 (UTC)

Hi there. When working on articles, please try to adhere to WP:BRD - you "Boldly" added the info to the article, I Reverted those changes, and so next is to Discuss on the talk page. This is how issues are supposed to be solved, not through continually re-adding it into the article (you've added it 3 times now).
This is actually how we're always supposed to do it, but its even worse when there's clear discussion on the talk page that goes against your edits. Please join in this discussion rather than continually reverting and arguing through edit summaries, and change it only if there's consensus to do so. Thanks! Yeah, I particularly hate how fickle WP:VG's opinions on notability seem to be because that keeps us from setting precedents. I mean, hell, even if an article I've poured my very being into gets redirected, I want to at least be able to keep a very clear bijective standard that can be referenced later because of it, i.e. "If you have this, this, and this, it's notable. If you don't, it isn't." With as little ambiguity as possible.
Regardless, thanks for keeping an eye on the discussions. I don't edit music articles as much as I have, but I can still check that out later. Tezero (talk) 22:53, 17 May 2014 (UTC)

We shouldn't start an edit war over those genres. But the fact is that pop rock is the only genre included in the sheet music, all the other genres are opinions of the critics. However, if you do insist in including them, just add new jack swing, which is missing. — prism △ 15:45, 17 June 2014 (UTC)

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Thanks for the edits! English is not really my forte. I cannot figure out how to mention something about that section in the lead except for the Dookie and Insomniac relevance. A sentence briefing about the theme is required. Perhaps can you help? Yash! 13:34, 25 March 2015 (UTC)
Would you agree that this song has way too many references for nu metal? I think you would. Anyway, which ones should I trim off and which ones should I keep? I'm trying to think about how to have both genres fit neatly in one line. DannyMusicEditor (talk) 19:10, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
Hello. I don't actually have any plans on taking any articles to GA at the moment (the 'to-do' list on my talk is around a year old). That being said, I do love Clarity (and JEW) and I wouldn't be against taking it (and the other JEW albums) to GA. Yeepsi (talk) 22:53, 10 May 2015 (UTC)

May I ask for a little help, friend?
I assume it was you who nominated the Hunting Party for GA, right? Can you tell me how to do that? I know a particular article that just might classify. DannyMusicEditor (talk) 17:42, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
Hey Kokoro, I've recently nominated Kill 'Em All for featured article. You may leave comments/vote at the nomination page. Appreciate your time.--Retrohead (talk) 10:34, 29 June 2015 (UTC)
Hi - instead of semi-protecting the Simple Plan song you requested at RFPP, I put pending changes on it because it's not that heavily edited. I see you don't have the reviewer user right; if you'd like that granted to you, I've reviewed your contributions and I feel comfortable granting it to you. If you'd like me to do that, let me know. If not, just ignore this message. :-) KrakatoaKatie 21:51, 2 July 2015 (UTC)
Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.
Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Paramore (album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Idolator (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Editor of the Week | ||
Your ongoing efforts to improve the encyclopedia have not gone unnoticed: You have been selected as Editor of the Week for your long-term efforts to help new editors. Thank you for the great contributions! (courtesy of the Wikipedia Editor Retention Project) |
Editor Yash! submitted the following nomination for Editor of the Week:
I am pleased to nominate Kokoro20 to be Editor of the Week. Kokoro20 has been editing Wikipedia since December of 2007, though his active contributions began only after April, 2011. So they have been working majorly during the last four years with their edits focusing on punk rock and alternative rock articles. Despite having a low edit count, they have helped promote at least three GAs and have been silently contributing to a great many other GAs. Their work focuses on updating and keeping the facts right on a vast number of articles. It looks simple, but it really isn't if you do that to as many articles as Kokoro20 has been doing for this span of years. As far as I see, they have never been awarded a barnstar so let's not make all that work go unappreciated.
You can copy the following text to your user page to display a user box proclaiming your selection as Editor of the Week:
