Just a few of many examples of how since May the bots are skipping talk archiving. Talk:Ronald Reagan, Talk:Benjamin Franklin, and most recently this user's talk page. All of the bot code and talk archives appear in good order with no apparent errors. So far I've only seen this happening on article and user talk pages. Not sure about wikipedia pages. Apparently Misza13 does not have his "email this user" option activated. If anyone can bring his attention to this thread it would be appreciated. Brad (talk) 21:49, 30 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
There's an email address hidden on his userpage. I will send him a note. -- Dianna (talk) 05:23, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
MiszaBots Completely Dead
This request for help from administrators has been answered. If you need more help or have additional questions, please reapply the ((admin help)) template, or contact the responding user(s) directly on their own user talk page.
It hasn't run in 2 days... what's happening? I have a bad feeling it's cause you haven't edited in quite a while... is it some sort of toolserver account lapsing or something like that? Theopolisme 01:09, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The reason I tagged it for admin help was I was curious if anyone had any communication with Misza. Theopolisme 03:49, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Aha, brilliant. Thanks, Dianna. If there's no reply after a while, we may need to figure something out - either someone sets up a new install/run of it, or someone runs some sort of bot to change everything to ClueBot (obviously the first makes miles more sense, but... you never know). Theopolisme 05:19, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
He hasn't edited since July, which is worrisome. I will post here if/when I get a reply, and if I don't get a reply, we will have to consider other options. -- Dianna (talk) 05:25, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds good. Perhaps give him a week? Simply because this is a bit of an urgent issue... Theopolisme 05:32, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I should note that MiszaBot I and MiszaBot II are also dead, as well as MiszaBot III. Safiel (talk) 05:55, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Updated header accordingly. Theopolisme 05:58, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Is it just me or did the MiszaBots just come back to life? Theopolisme 06:49, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Wait, it might just be #2.... are you pressing switches somewhere? Theopolisme 06:52, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, #2 is running, #3 dead since 30th and #1 dead since 31st. Let's hope Misza replies soon, as this is quite worrying. So many people rely on his bots... Adam Mugliston Talk 12:13, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
....And they all appear to be up now, thank goodness. Theopolisme 17:20, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
No; MiszaBot I has not resumed editing. That bot archives article talk pages, and has not completed a run since August 31. -- Dianna (talk)
My mistake, must have been seeing double negative one. Theopolisme 18:15, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
MiszaBot I is running right now and is up to the letter M! Yay -- Dianna (talk) 02:59, 4 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have snuck in a ninja fix to the "skipping pages problem". It was so trivial, I didn't bother to even test it. Lo and behold, obviously I made a mistake and it took me 2 days (and an email from Diannaa) to notice it only made things worse. (Yes, I read emails, not always answer them.) —Миша13 10:37, 4 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Misza. Looks like everything is working now including the pages that were skipping. Brad (talk) 04:05, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Are you sure it's working? My talk page has been archived once, and that was ages ago. RfC invitations have been piling up, and nothing is being archived. I'd be glad if you could look into this. Thegreatgrabber (talk) 02:29, 18 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Misza, I was just wondering how your bots work when reading the dates? I sometimes get undated messages for example about AfC Backlog and they don't seem to archive. Any chance that can be fixed or is it not possible for those to archive? Adam Mugliston Talk 21:29, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sections without a date stamp are not automatically archived. If someone or a bot is posting sections without a date stamp, then the poster should be contacted. I think the decision to not archive these sections is wise since some editors add information intended to be retained on the talk page using this 'trick'.
