Hello Marclaporte! You inserted a link into an article that has previously been discussed on the talk page and subsequently removed from the article. Please do not add it again without discussing it there first; and if you do intend to discuss it, please be aware that you will have to make a very good case for it's inclusion considering your conflict of interest as TikiWiki project admin. Hello Plrk. Thank you for your message. I had not noticed the talk page and I thought I had forgotten (as in meant/intended to do it but forgotten) to add that link to that page. In fact, I had added in July. I will soon add my point of view on the Talk page.
I did click on "watch" page to get an email notification but for some reason, I don't receive the emails (for any Wikipedia page I am watching). I am trying another email address now.
In terms of conflict of interest: I feel this is relevant info about Wiki Syntax/Markup/text and provides both good and bad aspects about it. TikiWiki offers both a WYSIWYG editor and Wiki Syntax/Markup/text so we are well aware with both aspects. The page in question is also a wiki page so anyone can disagree and improve. There is a link to an article: "Wiki markup has no future" so people can read about the topic and make up their own mind. Marclaporte (talk) 16:05, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I believe e-mail notification of changes to articles on your watchlist has been turned off on the English Wikipedia. You can monitor changes to the articles you have clicked "watch" on by visiting Special:Watchlist. Plrk (talk) 22:33, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you Marclaporte (talk) 22:37, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're invited![edit]

Hello, Marclaporte,

You are invited meet with your fellow Wikipedians by attending the Montréal meetup scheduled on Sunday, June 27, 2010; between 1500 - 1700 to be held at the Comité Social Centre Sud (CSCS), located at 1710 Beaudry, in Montréal. You can sign up at the meetup page.

The meetup is happening in concurrence with RoCoCo 2010, a free, bilingual, weekend unconference including many people involved with Wikis both within the Wikipedia/Wikimedia Community and abroad. You do not need to attend the conference to sign up for the Wikimeetup, but you are certainly welcome! Bastique ☎ call me!

(PS: Please share this with those you know who might not be on the delivery list, i.e. Users in Montreal/Quebec)
