Hi. When you tag a page ((db-atk)), like Steven perry just now, it's a good idea also to replace the whole content with the word "blanked" - that means the attack material is removed from display at once (though of course it's still in the history till the page is deleted) and the attacker doesn't get the satisfaction of seeing it. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 10:27, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
Exuse me, but why are you deleting my pages? —Preceding unsigned comment added by ILager (talk • contribs) 20:44, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

I am a new Wikipedia contributor and just created my first page. I took to search to make sure it was actually new material and made sure to put in some references to establish relevance and authenticity. Hello,
My name is Randy Robertson. I'm a professor of English at Susquehanna University, and I am teaching a course on the history of media. One of my assignments for the class is that we create our own religion. The point of the exercise is to show students how sacred texts can accrue material over time, some of which is inconsistent with what was there before.
It is also, however, a serious attempt to define the values of the class. As students will be students, the initial comments in the entry will be frivolous, but my hope is that over time it will become more serious, and that as a class we will build a page that will stimulate thoughtful discussion. It was originally titled "Religion of Susquehanna," but because Susquehanna's Board of Trustees might get upset about that, I propose to call the entry "A New SU Religion." I hope that you let this page stand. Many academics are hostile to Wikipedia; I like using it as a learning tool in the new media world, where movements can be created online before they exist in the "real world." If you would like to discuss any aspect of this proposal further, please feel free to contact me at robertson@susqu.edu.
Sincerely, Randy Robertson (talk) 00:59, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

The section I removed violated the copyrights of the Saudi-US Relations Information Service. I don't see why you would give someone a level 2 warning for removing copyvio's, particularly not when I've explicitly mentioned it in the edit summary. I want to start off by thanking you for your work in Wikipedia. It looks like you've done quite a bit of weeding out. That being said, it looks like (from your talk page), you've tagged articles in for speedy deletion incorrectly in the past. You recently tagged Chris Doss for deletion as a db-bio. The page claimed that he was the coach of WVU basketball and had a 200-0 record. This would certainly make him notable as you would find a large amount of articles about an undefeated WVU basketball coach. I retagged it as a db-vandalism as the information is completely false. Again, thanks for your time on wiki and you're certainly making edits in good faith and for the better of Wikipedia but using the incorrect db tags can extend a bad articles life considerably. Thanks again. OlYellerTalktome 19:29, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

Well per the CSD page, A7 is for an article about a person/group/web content which does not indicate any importance for its subject. And it also specifically mentions that it doesn't apply to any article that makes any credible claim of significance or importance, which Ciera keyes did. G4 does not apply to an article deleted without a deletion discussion, so articles deleted through PROD and speedy deletion are not eligible for G4. However, if you look at the article on Ciera keyes, and with some common sense and a G-search, it is obviously vandalism, which falls under G3. --Patar knight - chat/contributions 12:28, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

My remarks there are geared towards improving citations and citation style, removing speculative references, WP:SYN and OR. I have exemplified this in examples including blah blah blah (ref). And also blah blah blah............ ref ref ref ref ref ref, to exemplify refs which are bunched up at the end of the section and cannot be assigned to the single statements. This is constructive criticism. So please leave it alone and read it again. It is not vandalism. If it appears not constructive to you, get a university degree. I am trying to teach proper citation style, which can be easily proofread against references, without having to completely read ALL references and then wondering which reference belongs to which statement, and on which page. Just a quick note about your New Article speedy deletion tagging - I notice you've tagged one or two articles as being vandalism, when that's probably not the case - it's important that new articles aren't tagged as being vandalism even if they do require deletion, as we don't want to brand new users "vandals" when all they're doing is trying to add content to the project. Thanks for your message. You should probably read the discussion page (it's obvious you haven't), where the reasons for my edits are documented in detail. It's hardly vandalism to restore a NPOV, as noted by several administrators on the discussion page when they prevented the above editor & her friend from reverting for a week. You should assume good faith. Lcwilsie is a POV editor (not as biased as her friend I accept) - have a look at some of her edits. Look at the page of the admin who froze the page for a week and what that admin says about the version that YOU describe as vandalism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.89.167.125 (talk) 03:42, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Danny MacAskill, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the ((dated prod))
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. I have to say, thanks for making this bot. If it can (re)place speedies consistenly then this is sure to be a very handy additional for new page patrol. I hope you don't mind me asking but: Coul'd this bot be easily adapted to work the same way for PROD tags? PROD's may be removed by anyone, but keeping track of each PROD is quite annoying. Maybe its an idea to notify editors if a PROD they placed is removed by the person that made the page / is removed within 7 days? :) Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 12:10, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Hello again Kingpin13. When i was here yesterday (And again today) i noticed that you have a fairly large amount of messages on your talk page. I also saw that you archived them trough moving your entire talk page as an archive page. Might it be an idea to set up automated archiving instead? There are several bots that can automatically split and archive messages on your talk page, which saves a lot of time, while it also gives a talk page a cleaner look:). Im using MiszaBot for this purpose myself - in case your interested you might want to read the howto on archiving trough the bot: User:MiszaBot/Archive HowTo. An example is present in the source of my talk page. Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 10:21, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

Hi, I saw you recently nominated School of the Holy Child, Angeles, Inc. for deletion under G11, and then also nommed the redirect under the same criteria. But the criteria you should have used is G8 (a page which is dependent on a page which doesn't exist, has been deleted, or is currently nominated for speedy deletion). Also, you probably don't need to tag redirects as admins should check for those when deleting. Keep up your patrolling :) - Kingpin13 (talk) 07:40, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

Hi there. First off, nice bot, great idea. I just noticed a small flaw you might want to correct: The bot readded a speedy template here after the creator had moved the article to their userspace to work on it. I understand that the bot probably cannot check for that but as a security measure (and to avoid bad tags being replaced) I think it would be great if it could check whether the tag can be used in that namespace at all before re-adding it, i.e. only re-adding A#-tags in article namespace, U#-tags in userspace etc. Regards SoWhy 06:35, 2 June 2009 (UTC)

My article on Mark Siryk wasn't meant to be an attack piece. I mistyped "Russophone" as "Russophobe". Easily done, but the article makes more sense now.

I am big enough to take the high road and if I offended, I appologize. I am new to this and I am just trying to edit an untrue definition on this site. I get frustrated when I read a blatent unfounded definition of something the authour obviously knows nothing about. I will do my homework and try to edit in a fashion acceptable to this site. Any pointers that may help my edit from being reverted would be greatly appreciated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tboned208 (talk • contribs) 13:43, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
the article has some truth and it was sourced from our own web page. I am not interested in altering that content,I am however flabergasted, as I learn the process on this site, that some of these things were able to be published in the first place. what "source" is related to the supposed criminal activities??? Criminal activities Drug trafficking, arms dealing, extortion and money laundering ... totaly unfounded and I challenge anyone to back up those accusations with any reliable sources. If they were able to print that kind of acusation without any source then I should be able to delete it. The author is in no position to comment on allies or rivals and I would challenge any sources on that statement as well. what I am trying to do is leave the core of the definition there but delete the inaccuracies, that is all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tboned208 (talk • contribs) 15:18, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

Hi Kingpin13. Thanks for answering the RfA questions I asked. I was wondering if you've ever read WP:DOLT, and whether you'd be interested in elaborating your answer in order to distance yourself from User:Headhunter409? The question is not so much about your familiarity with the legal threats policy and the block button as it is about all the other things that need considering when faced with such a situation. -- zzuuzz (talk) 13:01, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

I saw the edit summary you left when tagging the above article for PROD - I agree that it didn't quite comfortably fit any criteria. I ended up deciding it was a reasonable G2 test page, as a malformed unwikified entry that had no context and blatantly wasn't an "article" by any stretch of the imagination, it was clearly created by someone who didn't understand what Wikipedia is.
I think you made the right move not tagging it with anything in particular; PROD is always the way to go if you're unsure. Just thought I'd let you know my thoughts - keep up the good work. ~ mazca talk 13:34, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Murder of David Lynn Harris, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
Hello. I didn't really know what to tag it, so I guess a prod or afd would of been better. Ah, I was expecting someone would contact me soon about this. I provided, in my edit, a very brief summary of why I struck his vote, but I will elaborate.
Part of the job we do, as crats, is to analyze the rationales behind opposes and neutrals to see where consensus lies. We do give different weight to different rationales, and in a practical sense, the only difference between giving a vote no weight and physically striking a vote is striking the vote. This is possible because RFA is a discussion, where the real power of someone's oppose lies not in their physical vote but in the reasoning behind it.
I admit, I was apprehensive to strike the vote. I could close the RFA and give it no weight without striking. I could support myself and negate the oppose. I could ignore it and let the discussion boil over and past until he grew tired of it. But I didn't. I knew I might find criticism, but I can't in good conscience let him disrespect Mikaey in such a way.
When a person submits themselves to RFA, they deserve to be seen in the light of their contributions. They deserve to receive constructive criticism. They deserve to see what they have done right and what they need to work on. So when someone opposes with a reason that fails to give to the candidates the respect and the aforementioned rights that they deserve, how can we let that stand? We are an encyclopedia based off mutual respect and civility for each other. To what degree our mutual respect and civility as a community still stands is debatable, but this is the hope we look to build towards.
That said, I don't have a vendetta against Peter Damian. I wish him well, and I hope he continues to build content. If he even put so much as a reasonable rationale to show why Mikaey might not be a good admin, I would not have stricken the vote. But his wording, the internal message of his oppose, and the fact that he is basically getting away with it, I find to be astounding. As a bureaucrat, I feel it is a duty of mine to make sure that RFA is a place where the candidate can learn about themselves through the constructive criticism of others and that both sides may be civil and respectful when doing this. I had no choice but to be bold, and to do my duty, albeit in a more openly symbolic fashion that we are accustomed to doing. bibliomaniac15 22:07, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

There doesn't seem to be consistency in retention or deletion of murder articles. Would you help me formulate a more precise definition?
Essentially, some want WP to be news. In these days of tabloid journals, the likes of CNN often carries the story.
Here are some ideas, some of which may be good or bad.
1. Length of time of coverage.
a. coverage of the murder more than 1 year after it becomes known.
b. repeated coverage of the trial, perhaps defining repeated.
c. locally significant murder.
2. Unusual nature of murder
3. Coverage by the foreign media. No coverage=not notable? That would mean that American murders would be covered if mentioned in the British press and vice versa. This may be an unusual requirement.
4. Coverage of the murder more than 1 week at the time of discovery and more than 1 week at the time of trial. Could be 2.
5. Significant uproar when the murderer is up for parole.
What are your thoughts. I am not ready for WP-wide discussion because I would like to hear a few opinions first. I have no opinion yet except that there is some variability in deciding which article stays. I think the decisions are not very uniform. User F203 (talk) 20:37, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Just an fyi that in at least some cases (for example, Cool Prototyping, Joel Kemm, and Jeonui Station, which may all be gone by the time you read this, unfortunately), your bot seems to insert a space that you might not have intended to create. It is a leading space at the beginning of the line of text that follows the speedy that you replaced. The result is to display that text in a code box, ignoring Wiki markup. (Of course, this won't matter unless the article's deletion is canceled, at which time someone would want to delete that space.) --Rich Janis (talk) 02:33, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding ((hangon))
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. noq (talk) 00:42, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

I've read the pages on it, but I don't see the difference between it, and a normal template. Thanks. AHRtbA== Talk 01:07, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
Hey, I would think all articles in Category:Tennessee Volunteers football seasons should be deleted... They really don't contribute much. What would happen in a case like this? Thanks. AHRtbA== Talk 16:07, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
Hey Kingpin, I hope you don't mind me asking you every question I have... :) I was thinking about making a bot that goes through images, and if the image was created more than 30 days ago, and it has no pages linking to it, it'll nominate it for deletion? (not Speedy... what category would that be under?) Thanks. AHRtbA== Talk 16:36, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
Hey buddy, sorry it didn't occur to me it was you!!! I think the bot is a good idea for vandals! I thought that editors on the white list and auto-patrolled editors like myself were exempt from that criteria? It doesn't bother me every now and then, my only wish though is that more bot operators were interested in devising ways to mass generate content twice as fast as I do but with ten times the info!! Dr. Blofeld White cat 16:15, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Yeah thats why I sort of function as a content building bot most of the time on here!! Somebody has to highlight the missing articles from other wikipedias and make the first step to get them into english!! We could sure use several hundred translators though. I don't start a single article that can't be expanded substantially by anybody visiting of course. My ideal would be to create 10 articles a minute and have every article fully translated instantly upon creation. Dr. Blofeld White cat 16:23, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
The bot has restored an A7 tag to an article that was expanded from the originally tagged article - to the point where A7 didn't apply anymore. I don't think this is optimal. Can you consider adding in a check to see if the author added content in conjunction with the tag removal and tell the bot to ignore, or log only? Thanks, –xenotalk 17:32, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

Hi. In light of recent events and community concerns about the way in which content is transferred I have proposed a new wikiproject which would attempt to address any of the concerns and done in an environment where a major group of editors work together to transfer articles from other wikipedias in the most effective way possible without BLP or referencing problems. Please offer your thoughts at the proposal and whether or not you support or oppose the idea of a wikiproject dedicated to organizing a more efficient process of getting articles in different languages translated into English. In this edit [5], the bot informed me of the removal of a PROD tag it "thought" I had placed. For your informative critique. Do you think Who is more obssessed with Twilight? should be re-created and then speedily deleted under a different criterion (A7 instead of G1) or do you wish to go to WP:DRV and argue it was not nonsense? I and another editor who initially tagged it, saw it as nonsense, and eligible for G1. It was not so much a sensible article about a non-notable person, as raving nonsense about an obsession with a fictional work. "Blather, blather, I love Twilight, blather, blather, I watched it 50 times in a row, blather blather my friends think I am crazy" sounds like nonsense to me. Edison (talk) 02:24, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
Did you intend to let this user know under which CSD criterion you felt his article JamesDee should be deleted? All you did was warn him not to create inappropriate articles. Shouldn't you let him know it was under G3? As the G3 template says, you can do so by posting the provided template ((subst:Db-vandalism-notice|JamesDee|header=1)) ~~~~ on the editor's talk page. I have speedily deleted the article. Regards. Edison (talk) 03:42, 20 August 2009 (UTC) Never mind. I see that the template does not specify G3 and only uses general language. Hi, and thanks for the message. You're correct that I added the ((notability)) tag to this article despite the existence of sources, as it seemed a bit like a WP:ONEEVENT to me. However, I hadn't noticed it had previously passed AFD. My article falls well within the boundaries of wikipedias guidelines and is partially under construction. I have edited the talk page for you to look at but i would like to get rid of that as soon as possible because it looks ridiculous for me to be fighting to keep a legitimate article on the free encyclopedia. I have contacted the user who attempted to destroy my page and i will want to kepp the article in its orginial format by tonight, so please be quick i have to write an article for each of the robots and technology and i cant spend another 45 minutes wondering why wikipedia doesnt like me anymore. I understand there is no way for me to stop destructive edits of my articles, but i did remove that long warning, because it is better to have no page then have a page which reflects badly on the company or makes it look illegitiamte in any way, shape or form, and i will continue to reverse any destructive edits made on my articles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Canadiansteve (talk • contribs) 19:55, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

Hello kingpin, i recently have begun expaning the robotics Design page to include all other articles (ETS students wrote it now compeltely, with me only showing them where the exisitng information was, to keep the wikipedia community happy), namely the ANAT technology page, even more important then putting a page about a company on wikipeida, because the technology is whats intersting; modular robots, if you know what im talking about the mere mention would peak your interest. But, interesting or not this page was deleted for being an ad, when it did not promote any product whatsovever, just described this thecnology. The page was ANAT technolgy, which is now deleted b a volunteer, and i really dont want to spend my day arguing with people that dont care about the technology or probably robotics in the first place. If you can restore it, it would be much appreciated, an im not exactly sure what qualifies as vandalism, because im sure the volunteers believed themselves to be genuinely acting in the interests of wikipeida, but im really ready to give up on this whole website, escpecially considering nobody's paying me to do what im doing. If you could talk to them for me or find me an adminstrator who wants to help, i would appreciate it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Canadiansteve (talk • contribs) 20:38, 8 September 2009 (UTC)

Hello,
why should this page be deleted ? I don't know what the original page was (as you can see I only made an account today) The information looks 'normal' to me, but maybe you know something more ? Jared is just a football (for americans soccer) player who plays for a belgian team http://www.clubbrugge.be/en/team/jared-jeffrey
I saw in the deletion logs that the reason was "(A7: Article about a real person, which does not indicate the importance or significance of the subject)" What kind of ??? is that ?

I told you, it was out of blunt dislike for the genre and band. If anything, how about you start threatening to block him - for unacceptable deletion of content, rather than me, a mere IP address you know nothing of, which is just going to change in the next 60 minutes anyway.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.249.254.197 (talk • contribs)
He claims it fitted article A7: Which explains that there was no relation to any form of subject matter. (Non existent)
If you read through his history you will notice he has deleted multiple pages of information on hardcore/screamo music. This is what lead my roommates and I to believe he has a mere dislike for the music genre, and has just gone deletion happy with wikipedia. Surely you can now see how your hostility and threats block us were met with antagonistic verbiage. The music genre is being cheated out of this website by this one, sole loser.
Perhaps you can restore this article and send a 'warning' to this user to NOT delete it again? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.249.254.197 (talk • contribs) 20:19, 19 September 2009
RECON is an extremely popular mainstream band. The fact that the above mentioned user deleted it shows he had no evidence, but a personal bias.
http://www.myspace.com/recon http://www.last.fm/music/Recon
They have an album released, are signed with Rise Records, and have been touring for some time
I plan on re-creating the article, regardless of what the user who previously deleted it thinks.
Thanks for your help, Kingpin.
Hi- I noticed the one edit summary you left which used Dazzle! and I really like the way that you customized the edit summary addition. Do you mind if I steal it for use as the default? It looks really nice having the tool info separate from the rest of the summary. (also, I am in progress on a user reporting tool; an Alpha build should be done within a week that provides the bare minimum functionality). –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 01:59, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

Hi Kingpin. Thanks for your message. The background is at WT:MILHIST, in the current talk page and the last archived page. Sufficient to say we now seem to be deleting anyone who has not received their country's highest honour - only CMHs, VCs, Heroes of the Soviet Union etc are now automatically eligible. This means you may have to defend this particular article from an AfD at some point. Kind regards from Down Under Buckshot06(prof) 22:18, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
A few days ago you approved versions of Yobot and Smackbot to replace ((lifetime)) with ((DEFAULTSORT)). The chief argument was that people miss the sort value in ((lifetime)) and place another sort value on the page, thus creating a conflict.
I have been resolving DEFAULTSORT conflicts since a couple of days after Category:Pages with DEFAULTSORT conflicts was created. I am almost certain that I am the only editor who is working on the problem from that page. I am absolutely certain that I have not seen more than five instances, out of more than a thousand pages, where the conflict was between a ((lifetime)) and ((DEFAULTSORT)). Almost always the conflict is generated by an editor or a bot putting a "correct" sort value on a page and not deleting the incorrect value.
There is a discussion at Template talk:Lifetime regarding this replacement. Rich and Magioladitis have decided on their talk pages to eliminate lifetime. A number of editors, including me, have asked them not to do this. Their response is the same. Essentially, ((lifetime)) is evil because it hides categories. Rich has even developed a subst version, lft, which despite its name and its syntax, generates not ((lifetime)) but ((DEFAULTSORT)) and its categories.
Is there any way to reverse your approvals?

Hey KP,
Thanks for the message, my mistake on that one.
After the tag was placed, the original author blanked the page while you were editing it yourself when you placed the NotEnglish tag, which recreated the page. Should it be tagged Author Blanked or just wait until a possible translation occurs so that any good information can be added to parallel computing? Hi there,
I think I accidentally removed the "speedy delete" tag when I added a "hangon" tag to this article.
The hangon tag reads as follows:
"Hangon: Could you please be specific as to my infringement? I have referenced links to the actual sources of articles, so that should not be a copyright infringement. Also, how is this article a form of advertisement when you will allow articles on Wikipedia for such companies as Applebee's, Dancing Deer Co., Stonewall Kitchen, Barefoot Contessa, Doumak Inc., etc.? I will be happy to change whatever needs to be changed in order to have this article comply with your criteria. Thank you very much for your consideration and assistance."
If you can let me know exactly what I am doing wrong, I would like to have the chance to correct my errors so that the article can be published. Are you wanting to remove the article because we haven't won any awards like some other companies have advertised in their articles? Do we need that (i.e., more clout for our company) in order to be able to publish this article on Wikipedia?
One of the reasons you site for a speedy deletion of this article is "unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article". Can you please explain how our article is different from that of the companies I've indicated above in the hangon tag or other published articles on Wikipedia for such individuals as Ina Garten, Martha Stewart, etc.? If you could please clarify this, I would really appreciate it.
Also, I included references to third party printed and electronic articles that have been written about our products, as I thought Wikipedia needed references for our article to published in the Encyclopedia. If you wish that I remove all references to the printed articles, I will certainly be happy to do so.
Thank you very much! (But, where will I find your response now?)

Hi,
I Saw the guy making the article with the edit summary Just coined a new word. I put the CSD G3 tag as I thought that a word made by someone on the spot would be equivalent to a hoax. Why object to a new word that so self evidently describes a person that is well versed in two distinct disciplines i.e. {Astrology + Psychology = Astrochology}. Unless of course you believe that one or the other is not a legitimate science. But then you would have too argue with all the writings of Carl Jung, the first (arguably) Astrochologist (Although "they" didn't have a word for his field back then! Guess we still don't (try to google it). It's "ABOUT TIME", don't you think . . . ?

I am just informing you that I have deleted a page you tagged (Abhinandan mattela) under a criterion different from the one your provided, which was inappropriate or incorrect. Hi Kingpin, thanks for your remarks. I should be the one whom embarrased about what I have done instead. I hope that you "believe" me that my intention is to improve id.wikipedia indirectly by running a Bot. Especially that I am quite an active member in id.wiki as well. I also realise that I am still "young" in wiki-experience, but want to do a little bit too much apparently. Other reason on running a bot on several days is that I didn't check often enough the remarks on other wiki which I have tried to "update" this last couple of days. I should be careful indeed, and instead made problems. In this case, I shouldn't be running bot then until I have fully understand the system or ?? .. Once again, thanks for your remarks and guidance. I still need to learn more about the programs itself, especially understanding how to "program" a bot to run interwiki accordingly. I have tried to find information, but not yet successful. Again, apologize for the troubles made. Regards Tjmoel (talk) 14:59, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

Hi Kingpin. :) I finally was able to get WikiAlerter to work today, and have started trying it out. No complaints so far, but I do have a question. Is there a way for a custom edit summary? Or perhaps, could you change the default edit summary from "(Warning, your page has been marked for deletion)", to "(Notice, your page...)". "Notice" seems a littler friendlier as "warning" could imply they have done something wrong. Which, for a7's they haven't. :) Thanks, @Kate (parlez) 18:04, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

I see your bot made some steps into the WP:PENNSYLVANIA task, but I've also got a pending request to tag for the project here. They've also asked me to auto-stub and inherit classes; something I note your bot doesn't appear to be doing. I don't want to step on any toes here, so how do you want to proceed? I can send you my .XML file with the inheritance matrix if you'd like to start offering this functionality as well! Auto-stub is easy, you just need to preparse the article pages for -stub)) first... –xenotalk 15:15, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
Please discontinue vandalizing my edits to the leap year page. If you have a problem with any of my edits please discuss it with me in the discussion page. How long does it take for the bot flag to appear on a bot? It does not seem to have appeared on MichaelkourlasBot yet. --Michael Kourlastalk – contribs 15:56, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
Got your email but sorry, haven't had time to do anything about it yet, will after Christmas. My OS is Windows XP. Yes, you may include me on group emails with those five, but no more - I'd rather my email address wasn't spread around widely. Cheers, JohnCD (talk) 10:16, 23 December 2009 (UTC)
Hi, any chance I can get a (compiled or original) version of the code the bot uses for checking for G3 and G10? I'm thinking about incorporating that functionality into Kissle. Thanks a lot. Tim Song (talk) 15:45, 23 December 2009 (UTC)
