AfD Nomination: South Edmonton Business Association[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem that South Edmonton Business Association meets these criteria, an editor has started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.

Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/South Edmonton Business Association. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.

Discussions such as these usually last seven days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, a neutral third party will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. Dawn Bard (talk) 17:08, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re: NAI Global[edit]

The article was actually deleted multiple times. Once because it did not support it's significance with any reliable sources and verifiable statements, 4 times for blatant advertising (an encyclopedia article requires a different writing style than an advert) and once for being a copyright violation of the companies website. All these things are not allowed, none of them has anything to do with "actual significance".

Editors that would like to create this article would be wise to read Wikipedia:Your first article to get an understanding of what it takes to write an actual article. Providing sources from books, papers and newspapers is cumbersome, because it requires research, but is the only way to getting an article on this topic that will stay. —TheDJ (talkcontribs) 13:41, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The best approach is to start writing it a subpage of your useraccount. For instance: User:Jimtraxx/NAI Global then when you have a good start that satisfies the basic requirements, you can use the template ((editprotected)) to request that an administrator clears the real "NAI Global" spot so your article can be moved there. —TheDJ (talkcontribs) 14:40, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
