Hello Jazzmonke. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Jazzmonke. The template ((Paid)) can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: ((paid|user=Jazzmonke|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName)). If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 331dot (talk) 12:55, 10 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, i am not being paid for this article in any means, this is my first wikipedia article and i wanted to make sure i am writing about a person that i am familiar with and in accordance with my taste in music. I have personally reached out to andy penkow to get permission to write this and has been working on it for about three weeks now. Please excuse the nature of my language since it is my firat encyclopedic brief. I will make sure that required edits are done properly, in accordance to your regulations. once again please excuse me for the honest mistakes I may have done, I am happy to make changes to make sure this article is in a presentable manner to wikipedia. thanks. You cannot claim the image as your own personal work unless you took the image. Copyright typically rests with the photographer, not the person depicted, so the image may not be Mr. Penkow's to give away, unless his contract with the photographer assigns him the copyright. If he does hold the copyright, the easiest thing to do would be for Mr. Penkow to upload the image to Commons himself. There are other methods but that's the easiest.
You will need to declare an (unpaid) conflict of interest. Articles are typically written without any involvement from, or even the knowledge of, the subject.
Mr. Penkow might want to read WP:PROUD and be fully aware of what he is getting into. There are good reasons to not want an article(though he cannot deny permission either).
Images are not relevant to the draft approval process, which only considers the text and sources. You don't need to worry about images until the draft is accepted and placed in the encylopedia. 331dot (talk) 13:56, 10 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I have rewritten it entirely and I hope these edits must be enough. Is there any further suggestions you might have to make the article better?
Thanks Jazzmonke (talk) 14:37, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Paul W were:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
At least two of the sources appear to interviews of the subject, and "The general rule is that any statements made by interviewees about themselves, their activities, or anything they are connected to is considered to have come from a primary source and is also non-independent material" (see WP:INTERVIEWS). As a minimum, the article needs significant coverage, by sources with reputations for fact-checking and accuracy (not passing mentions, not blogs, not routine coverage by events promoting his appearance, etc), that isn't interview-based and which report his achievements independently.
I note that other editors have also raised a potential COI (see WP:COI), to which the main contributor to the article should respond, as it materially relates to the neutrality and balance of the content.
The article also includes no wikilinks to other articles (as such, it is a WP:deadend), and also embeds two external links, which should be removed per WP:EL.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Hi Paul, thanks for your review, I have again done my edit accordingly. Further more, I have already responded for the COI. I am not financially or otherwise being paid for the content that I am trying to publish. I want to become an active contributor for the Wikipedia community, and andy penkow is an artist that i have followed for a while since country music is my domain. Please review my article and let me know if anything needs further edits. thanks Jazzmonke (talk) 14:18, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
