With reference to your suggestion that So words like that this proves that Backward classes are at par with others etc can be removed from that section. Can I also suggest that the following words are also removed The quality of these elite institutes may go down, because merit is severely being compromised by reserving seats.

The former has been proved and all the links have been given. Hence there is no problem regarding Verifiability. The later sentence has been disproved by the Tamil Nadu Statistics. So I think we have to remove that

Hope you get my point Doctor BrunoTalk 18:50, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

I have answered this question in Talk section of Reservation in India. I hope you agree with me.

Writing in Tamil http://gilli.in/readwrite-in-tamil/ Doctor BrunoTalk 02:39, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

J.Jayalalithaa Please note that we cannot blank an entire paragraph just because one word may be a problem. If you are able to quote sources, then please do that. We can discuss in the talk page and reach an consensus. Doctor Bruno 17:02, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

You should have only blanked the page after a consensus was reached. More over, there is nothing called as Gossip Magazine. There is no policy in Wikipedia which says you cannot write about affairs. See Princess Diana for example. Of course, you cannot write completely baseless affairs. But the para is question is NOT ORIGINAL RESEARCH and should be maintained. Remember that it is clearly given that another Tamil Nadu CM has two wives. If people go on blanking all that is not good about their favourite leaders, then we will have no articles in Wikipedia at all Doctor Bruno 18:57, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

Your User Page Corrected I have edited and modified a small typo in your user page. Hope it is OK with you Doctor Bruno 17:03, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

Re: Blocking 205.223.222.254. Yep, I blocked that one in accordance with blocking policy. Since it's a school address, longer blocks tend to be overkill -- very frequently, one hour is more than enough for the kid involved to either (a) get bored and move on or (b) head on to the next class, where they may not have access to a computer. While the IP does have a history of vandalism (I caught and reverted some more today), it's difficult to establish whether the same people are involved or not, because they're editing anonymously. Long blocks on shared IP addresses are generally avoided, on the logic that blocks are more of a preventive tool than a punitive one -- although if chronic problems persist, there are exceptions to that. Administrators can block users, delete pages, and protect pages -- if you need their attention, you can post at WP:AN, WP:PAIN, WP:AN3, and WP:AIV, among other noticeboards. If you have any further questions, I'm happy to reply as soon as I'm able. Happy editing! Luna Santin 20:39, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

Value in figures Can you give me the value in figures of this image http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:TamilnaduGrowth.jpg

The site http://mospi.nic.in/14_nsdpcur8081ser.htm gives only NET STATE DOMESTIC PRODUCT AT CURRENT PRICES and ANNUAL GROWTH RATE OF NSDP AT CURRENT PRICES OVER PREVIOUS YEAR

Thus this image may be better deleted

The above mentioned web site says Note 1 : Owing to differences in source material used the figures for different State/UTs are not strictly comparable.

Hence this graph per se cannot be considered as reliable Doctor Bruno 02:06, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
