Hi. I don't know what's up with your sig but I've just corrected it to point here at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Georgetown University Lecture Fund. I hope you don't mind. -- Trevj (talk) 08:32, 4 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Civility warning[edit]

Hi. I came across some edits you made to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Georgetown University Lecture Fund, such as this edit expressing your "campaign on Georgetown students and their stupid clubs" and this one, which singled out Georgetown students and User:Patrickneil, using a strong tone, capital letters, and words like "ANNIHILATE." Both of these comments sounds like you might have a personal vendetta against Georgetown students in particular, and saying "I don't want Wikipedia recognizing their accomplishments" is irrelevant to the Deletion discussion. Please see Wikipedia:No personal attacks and Wikipedia:Civility, which are important core policies in the Wikipedia community.

One good resolution for this situation would be for you to go to your edits on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Georgetown University Lecture Fund and retract them by striking them out. You can do this by putting the comment <strike>within a strikeout</strike> comment.

Editors who continue to edit in a rude or abusive manner will continue to receive stronger warnings over time. We hope that it won't come to that, but ongoing or extreme violations of these policies can be prevented or enforced by Wikipedia administrators such as myself blocking accounts from editing for short periods of time. Serious ongoing incidents can lead to permanent blocks on editing the encyclopedia.

I hope that the explanation above was clear to you. If not, I'd be happy to explain further. Thanks. -- Wikipedical (talk) 20:17, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
