Help:Footnotes has a section on how to name a ref so that for subsequent uses there is a short version. In the refs, these show up as superscripted letters (a, b, c...) at the beginning of the ref. The ref that creates the name does not have to be the first use; one can decide later that earlier text in the article needs that ref. Also, having refs in the Lead section is optional as long as later in the article, where that information is elaborated on, the refs are used there. David notMD (talk) 14:35, 24 July 2023 (UTC)
Hello, Hikaru Kato!
Having an article draft declined at Articles for Creation can be disappointing. If you are wondering why your article submission was declined, please post a question at the Articles for creation help desk. If you have any other questions about your editing experience, we'd love to help you at the Teahouse, a friendly space on Wikipedia where experienced editors lend a hand to help new editors like yourself! See you there! Toadette (Let's talk together!) 19:36, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
