Editor of the Week

Editor of the Week
Your ongoing efforts to improve the encyclopedia have not gone unnoticed: You have been selected as Editor of the Week in recognition of your edits to improve coverage of ice hockey. Thank you for the great contributions! (courtesy of the Wikipedia Editor Retention Project)

User:HickoryOughtShirt?4 submitted the following nomination for Editor of the Week:

I nominate Flibirigit to be an Editor of the Week recipient. An editor since 2005, Flibirigit has been an amazing asset to Wikipedia:WikiProject Ice Hockey. They have created 290 articles (such as the recent Frank Sargent (sports executive)) however they spend most of their time improving stubs (such as George Dudley and IIHF Hall of Fame). Although he often works alone, Flibirigit embraces the collaborative spirit of Wikipedia and has personally encouraged me to become more involved in the Wikiproject. For example, together we made all the red links at List of members of the IIHF Hall of Fame blue and are currently collaborating on the redlinks at Elmer Ferguson Memorial Award. Overall, Wikipedia has become a better encyclopedia due to Flibirigit's involvement.
