Could you please be a bit more careful when trimming articles like that? I had to restore about 4/6 of the remove chars, because they were sufficiently important to stay. I'm AGF here, but be more careful in future, and don't make such edits without concensus unless you've played the related parts of the game/book/whatever in question. Even then be careful. If you want to be productive, why not take some (but not all) of the info on Archimonde in wowwiki, and pad out his secment a bit? He's a major char and only has one line as the article stands now.--Pharod42 (talk) 00:31, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
Great idea to fix up this article!! Usually I find the best way to fix an article is to have a model to see what the format is and what types of information are needed. Take this one for example; List of Metal Gear Solid characters, which is also currently the only featured character list. I hope this helps, keep up the good work! Thank you for your support in my request for adminship, which succeeded with a final tally of 38/1/0! I hope I can live up to the standards of adminship, and I will try my best to make Wikipedia a better place. Gaius Cornelius (talk) 18:44, 23 November 2007 (UTC) |
Just wanted to say thanks for supporting me! Please find your thank you card here, should you wish to see it. I'm honored to have received your support. All the best, ~Eliz81(C) 21:40, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
...for helping me navigate the waters of my surprisingly peaceful RFA, which closed successfully with 85 supports, 1 oppose, and 0 neutral.
I would particularly like to thank Acalamari and Alison, my nominators, and everyone who watched the page and ran the tally.
If there is anything I can do to be of service in the future, please feel free to contact me.
And forgive me if I need a Wikibreak now and then (like now. I'm exhausted!). You wouldn’t want to see me climbing the Reichstag, now would you?
Off to flail around with my new mop! (what?!)
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Urban-Rivals, because another editor is suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the ((dated prod))
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add ((db-author)) to the top of the page. Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Fantasy Realms (webcomic), by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Fantasy Realms (webcomic) is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Fantasy Realms (webcomic), please affix the template ((hangon)) to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot 12:00, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Although new to Wiki, I do not know of any Wiki rule or policy that gives one editor the right to censor the contribution of another editor. I am trying to improve the Wiki article on Clairvoyance, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clairvoyance. This is essentially an article on parapsychology and I happen to be knowledgeable in the subject matter. I have tried to add four fair, neutral and well-referenced paragraphs to balance the atricle. However, within minutes other editors click on Undo, and revert or delete my material. This is not science. It is censorship. I sent a message to one to invite negotiation. He would not discuss any issues but only encouraged me to begin DR, which he knows is a long and complicated process. So I am asking for advise from an experienced editor. Can you help?RAmesbury (talk) 21:45, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

I've closed the merge discussion concerning X-Men Fairy Tales .
My apologies for the late closure, there has been a backlog on such discussions. - jc37 02:47, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
No problem, I was lucky to find that one website that specifically said it was the Amy Lee from Evanescence. — Huntster (t • @ • c) 21:59, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
Hi there! :)
As someone who's worked on D&D and/or RPG articles before, I'm inviting you to participate in our goal to both improve articles that have been selected to be placed in the next Wikipedia DVD release, as well as nominate more to be selected for this project. Please see the WikiProject D&D talk page for more details. :) BOZ (talk) 16:21, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
Hii!!
How are you!? I was reading your profile and you seem pretty nice! Well, I'm new at wikipedia. I study in ITESM in MExico City and I have a business english class. I have for homework make an account on wikipedia because at the end of the semester we will do an article here. So I have many questions and I was just wondering if you can help out.
Not that we have any things in common (check my userbox if you like), but I think you can really help me.
Hope you can answer me. Thanks! Bye Theoneinblue (talk) 03:12, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
Hello. Since your account has been inactive for some time, it has been removed from Wikipedia:Editor assistance/list. There is an explanation at Wikipedia talk:Editor assistance/list#Problem with inactive accounts on the list. You are, of course, welcome to re-add yourself to the list if you wish to. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
