Hi there. I added a photo to the Sil Lai Abrams Wiki page and it has been removed. It is not in violation of Wikipedia standards. Why did this occur and how can it be added back? Baxter91 (talk) 16:57, 22 April 2020 (UTC)

Hey, Baxter91. I thought that, since this is your first time creating an article for Wikipedia, I should let you know about something we have that's designed to help your article avoid deletion after it exits what we call draftspace (where you article is now). It's called Articles for Creation. They will help you avoid Articles for Deletion by making sure it has as few problems with it (no advertisement-type language, it has a neutral point of view, etc.) as possible. If you do want to use AfC, be sure to put ((subst:AFC draft))
(exactly as it appears, including the curly braces) at the very top of your draft. This will give you a box at the top of your draft that gives you links to different guidelines, etc., that will help you make your draft better. It will also give you a large blue button that says "Submit your draft for review!" Clicking it and then clicking Save page will move the box to the bottom of the page and put it in the draft submission queue. Alternatively, if you don't want the "not submitted" box on your draft page but you still want to use AfC, you can put ((subst:submit))
(again, exactly as it appears, including the curly braces) at the very bottom of your draft and click Save page when you believe your draft is ready for submission. This will give you the same end result as the first method. Anyway, once your draft is submitted, an AfC reviewer (someone who is a very experienced editor who has created quite a few articles on their own) will get to your draft within the next couple of weeks after you submit your draft and either let you know what you can do to make it better or tell you that it's ready and move it out of draftspace for you. (AfC is usually backed up because of how many drafts from new users they get, so don't be surprised if you have to wait two to three weeks. You can continue improving your draft in the mean time, but don't touch the template code at the bottom of the draft.) — Gestrid (talk) 06:45, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but it appears you have written or added to an article about yourself, at Draft:Sil Lai Abrams. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. —LX (talk, contribs) 11:02, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
((db-u1))
at the top of your draft. That will let administrators know that you want it deleted. (You can also do this with Template:Sil Lai Abrams by doing the same thing.) If you ever want your draft back for some reason, you can ask for a refund. On the page I just linked, you would type Draft:Sil Lai Abrams

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Sil Lai Abrams, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.
If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.
You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.
If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.
Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:34, 25 October 2017 (UTC)

The photo on this page has been deleted, although it meets Wikipedia standards. Why? Baxter91 (talk) 16:55, 22 April 2020 (UTC)
