I am now proud owner of a TUSC account!
Hi! I wanted to let you know that we have created an IRC channel for "countering systemic bias one new editor at a time", aka closing the gender gap! Come hang out at #wikimedia-gendergap if that subject interests you. We hope this channel can serve as a safe haven to hang out, talk about Wiki, brainstorming, women in Wikimedia, article alerts and foster friendships. I hope you join us! (And if you need any IRC help, just let me know!) See you there! SarahStierch (talk) 12:52, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
I was happy to know Odia Wikipedia has progressed a lot. I certainly will contribute to it. You contribute too, won't you? --Sainsf <^> (talk) 14:58, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
Hi Ansumang, I've recently changed a couple of speedy templates you added to Prize365 and Galveston Pirate SC. If you're tagging an article for speedy deletion, please make sure you use the correct template. Usually admins will check for you when they review the nomination, but it makes their lives easier if the right tag is in place.
Good call on Phone no of kajal aggarwal, though! Cheers, Yunshui (talk) 10:45, 16 September 2011 (UTC)
Hi Ansumang - I'm new to wiki and have been trying to get an article accepted. I wrote it in my space using the Wizard but when I try to move it I get a message telling me that either I'm too new a user or I've been blocked. I've gone round and round the various help menus for over an hour, but I'm really stuck. Please help! Janherbert (talk) 16:08, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
Hi Ansuman, thanks for your reply. Bredon School is a different school to Bredon Hill Middle School, it covers children of a different age and is not part of the same organisation. Thanks for formatting it properly. Will it be uploaded now? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Janherbert (talk • contribs) 07:16, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
Hi, Ansumang, I declined your speedy deletion request of Jouwar because the article is not really about a webpage; it just references Urban Dictionary. I suggest you PROD the article. LadyofShalott 00:19, 1 October 2011 (UTC)
Please be aware that when you tag a page with, for example, wikify, as you have been doing, Twinkle automatically marks that page as patrolled. I have marked several of the pages you patrolled for deletion (Including at least one copyvio); please do not patrol things until they are fully ready for the mainspace. If you want to tag things without marking them as patrolled, go to WP:TWPREFS and, as I have done, turn off automatic patrolling of articles you tag. If you have any questions about new page patrol, please ask me. Please read WP:NPP as there are many things you need to do before marking something as patrolled. Thanks --Fiftytwo thirty (talk) 16:36, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
Actually, that means 'Exercise' so it could have been a test page. As it was about Queen Fredegund, I deleted it as test and as duplication of existing article. There isn't an article at the Polish Wikipedia about her, so I've dropped a hint to the author... If you're not sure how to spot Polish, by the way, look for the letter 'ł' - this only exists in Polish (and to be confusing, it sounds like an English 'w' or nearly so anyway). Peridon (talk) 20:14, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
One - The nonsense category is for things like 'uycuyvoi ivuyyuytuuyc' - but take a selection of it and drop it into Google to see if it's not garbage but some form of Foreign. (If there are no vowels at all - I count w and y as vowels - it's almost certainly garbage unless it's a form of Alien that can only be spoken by those with three rows of teeth - and hitherto unknown on Earth so it comes under WP:OR.) If words are recognisable, it can still be nonsense. 'Aardvark spilth formicated blackly red angels sideways up' is nonsense in the WP sense. Two - A7 is tricky in that there is a subjective element in it. What is credible to one person is not credible to another. An example is the people who believe that there really is 33 million dollars in a bank account in Lagos waiting to be sneaked out into their account in Little Twittering, Sussex. It's fairly obvious that a 14 year old has not played in the soccer World Cup and isn't a secretive billionaire philanthropist. (That would be a G3 hoax...) But what about the industrial group into chemicals, aviation, transport and other things? Look at the references. Check the references. Check Google. If Facebook comes top of the pile, have grave doubts. If in three pages of ghits you can find nothing but social networking - first make sure the hits are about the group - tag the thing. And put a note on the talk page. We like to find patrollers who tell us what they have done to check. Three - Never be afraid to ask. Why was that declined? Why did you change the reason? Four - Speedy Deletion isn't for anything. It's limited. If you think it should go, and can't find a category (or get declined but still think it should go) use PROD, and possibly AfD. CSD is just a timesaving shortcut of prod and AfD using admins as one person committees because they are reckoned to be able to predict what the result would be if it went to AfD. In fact, things at AfD get quite interesting at times. I was in one where I started out as a delete, became neutral, and then went for keep. This was because a vanity article had been improved by someone with good sources to show that this benevolent and successful businessman was actually something else with a few legal cases around and not what he wanted to be known as. Those are rare. Most times, by the time you get to admin, you can predict what the result would be. If there's an argument afterwards, you give then advice and see what happens. Things can always be undeleted. Peridon (talk) 11:42, 3 October 2011 (UTC)

I have a suggestion.Instead of deleting the article,as you have mentioned, you can move it to List of Positions in Eastern Railway.I support this fact, but please don't delete the article.Look,Peridon, also says that you can move it to List of Positions in Eastern Railway. So please discuss over this issue. And why does Slambob tells that it should be deleted?? I am trying to make the article better. And,of course,a policy in Wikipedia tells,"We can improve a article rather than deleting it for not being good enough".Please tell Slambob this. Recently you deleted the above wikipedia page. I can understand why you did so as it does appear from the guidelines that that page was inappropriate. The reason I created that page, and the problem I still have, is that I am trying to create a Facebook page for the nonprofit organization Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland and Perry Counties. Unfortunately, FaceBook has already created a community page with that same name. When you search in Google, for "Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland and Perry Counties Facebook", the community page is what is returned. As of right now, that page is a blank and so the search comes to a deadend. According to Facebook, community pages get their information from wikipedia pages. So, I attempted to give information on the Wikipedai page that would at least allow people to find something out about our organization from the Facebook page that comes from the wikipedia page. Any suggestions about how to resolve this conundrum? Thanks. Dvscp (talk) 01:59, 11 October 2011 (UTC)
I'am Really sorry.I was going to type a new topic and later changed my mind;and by mistake I done it.Dipankan001 (talk) 15:10, 11 October 2011 (UTC) Please see this article-Nek Minnit. What a nonsense is it!!I have already placed a speedy deletion nonsense tab.I think it should be deleted without no further discussion. Hi, thanks for your help with this article. I seem to keep going round in loops in the various help pages. I can confirm that the name of the school is simply Bredon School. I'd be grateful if you could make the article live now. Thanks. Jan Janherbert (talk) 08:57, 13 October 2011 (UTC)

Hi Ansumang, Thank you for reviewing our Wiki entry for Practi-Quest. We added it because it is the only evidence based, research validated bullying prevention simulation series in the world. I wasn't sure where to post the question to you but is this not important enough to put on Wikipedia? Thanks, Steven Stevenpq (talk) 21:47, 15 October 2011 (UTC) p.s. I like your profile page.
Hi Ansuman Thank you for the suggestion to post a sandbox first. I did exactly as you said. We have a lot of research behind our entry. Should we be adding direct references? Many thanks for responding to me earlier. Warm regards, Steven — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stevenpq (talk • contribs) 22:32, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
I've declined your speedy request as notability is claimed, and done a bit of tidying. On a Google search, she looks as if she could well be notable. Her book and diet are still talked about, but I've not checked for reliable sources yet. Just looked at it again, and the timescale is weird. It's definitely not a hoax, but things don't add up. Needs checking. (I've moved it to get rid of the title - except for rare ones like Dr Seuss we don't allow those in titles.) Peridon (talk) 11:36, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
Dear Ansumang Please do not delete the article on M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth. The article was not written with any intention of promoting the school. It was written in admiration and out of gratitude for the good work the school has been doing for the residents of Liluah, Howrah. This is one of the few professionally run schools in the locality, and many are grateful that this school was started for their children. In their opinion, this is a remarkable institution about which people may wish to know. The purpose of an encyclopedia is to provide knowledge where it is needed. Wikipedia is such a wonderful idea and, today, is an institution in the cyber world. We all hope you will agree to the continuance of this article which, hopefully, people will add to and make ever more meangingful. Mckv (talk) 11:02, 21 October 2011 (UTC)

Hi. I appreciate the review you did of United States Assay Commission. You may be under a misapprehension; this is not an expanded article but rather a new one. As it exceeds the minimum length, and assuming you were satisfied it passed the other criteria, that should be all that is necessary. To keep discussion together, I'd appreciate it if you would reply, if necessary, on the nominations page.--Wehwalt (talk) 20:07, 28 October 2011 (UTC)
As you may know, the Counter-Vandalism unit is inactive. So for reviving the WikiProject, we will need to sort out the members. So if you are active, please put your username at the bottom of the list at Wikipedia talk:Counter-Vandalism Unit#Sort out the members.

Hi there Ansumang! I've just come across one of your articles (or edits), and noticed that you might appreciate some help with references.
You might want to consider using this tool – it makes your life a whole heap easier, by filling in complete citation templates for your links. All you do is install the script:
// Add [[WP:Reflinks]] launcher in the toolbox on left addOnloadHook(function () { addPortletLink( "p-tb", // toolbox portlet "http://toolserver.org/~dispenser/cgi-bin/webreflinks.py/" + wgPageName + "?client=script&citeweb=on&overwrite=&limit=30&lang=" + wgContentLanguage, "Reflinks" // link label )});
on Special:MyPage/skin.js, then paste the bare URL (without [...] brackets) between your <ref></ref> tabs, and you'll find a clickable link called Reflinks in your toolbox section of the page (probably in the left hand column). Then click that tool. It does all the rest of the work (provided that you remember to save the page! It doesn't work for everything (particularly often not for PDF documents), but for pretty much anything ending in "htm" or "html" (and with a title) it will do really, really well. So long! Dipankan001 (talk) 04:48, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
Hello Ansumang, thank you for working on this article. How comes you are interested in Savate? I have explained on the talk page what propelles me and I might as well add that part of my family is French and that I've been a student of Tae Kwon Do (and we advanced students trained semi-contact fighting most of the time). However, I would like to write an article on Joseph Charlemont's son too and as well one on Count Baruzi. There is even an interesting little film available where Count Baruzi (who reminds me of Graf Yoster) talks to a young savate student of today... Hi. G11 wasn't the right tag for Drue Thatcher just now, it wasn't specially promotional, just a jokey entry from someone who thinks this is Myspace. ((db-person)) was what it needed. If another tag applies, it's usually better to use that rather than G11, because often people think they can just rewrite and take out a few adjectives and all will be well, when the real point was that the subject was not important or significant enough for an article, even neutrally-written. That applies particularly to company articles - it's easy to confuse promotional intent, which many people posting about companies may have, with actual promotional writing.
