Proposed deletion of Health systems management[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Health systems management, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Non notable term. Unreferenced and pretty much unreferencable

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the ((dated prod)) notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. I requested an overturn because I believe the page can be made to satisfy the Criteria for inclusion, and would like to address the issues raised. I hope to address this satisfactorily in the coming several days. Thanks. Angarman (talk) 23:54, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Health systems management[edit]

I have nominated Health systems management, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Health systems management. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 22:43, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Timtrent - I think I understand your concerns. I am editing the page accordingly, and will make a point of providing edit summaries moving forward. I believe with additional documentation the value of better documenting the term will become more apparent. Angarman (talk) 23:44, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I hope you succeed. I really cannot see the point of the article at this stage. Best of luck. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 23:48, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Master of Health Administration[edit]

I undid the revisions you made to the article of MHA. This article is only for the MHA degree. If you want to add related degree tracks please feel free to create a new article on the subject. Also include references in your additions to articles. Dumaka (talk) 17:26, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Given Wiki guidelines that seems to be a fair reason for deletion. The insertion was based on my concern about the general confusion the public has about master's degrees as related to the health systems management profession. However the concern relates to the accreditation process and not to the MHA degree per se, which may be a tighter fit for the clarifications.

Speedy deletion nomination of Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
