Request reason:

I tried creating a page for a group of differently-abled artists who create Indian Classical dance forms on wheelchair. My intention was to help the group and its unique art form and make people aware of such dances. The page was deleted twice. I requested to keep the page to help the differently-abled people as a social support, but it wasn't. My intention was noble and compassionate to help differently-abled people and make others aware of such brave acts by wheelchair bound artists. I have no connection with the group. I had just watched them perform. I wanted their art form to be known and people be aware of Classical Dances performances on wheelchair. I request you to unblock me so that I can continue to write for Wiki.

Accept reason:

Hi Ajku77, I've accepted the request because I don't think that blocking you indefinitely was appropriate or correctly handled. At the very least, you should have been warned first. That said, your article that was deleted had numerous problems. Your second attempt was better in that it fixed most of the style issues, but still lacked any sources to establish the notability of the subject. Also, while your intentions are commendable, creating an article to raise awareness is explicitly against our policy on promotion. There are plenty of other places to do that. Before jumping back in, I recommend that you spend more time familiarizing yourself with Wikipedia's basic rules, starting with the five pillars. If you choose to create another article from scratch, I strongly recommend going through the articles for creation process and working with an experienced editor so that you don't end up having your hard work deleted again. -- Scott (talk) 20:19, 28 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
