How redirects waste editors' time?

In spite of their cheapness, several redirects are extremely unlikely to be use of anybody, and end up on the discussion board. Because of this, such redirects would waste editors' time from doing something more useful. Please read the recommendations at the guideline of redirect, and be considerate of other editors' time in not creating redirects that will never help any users find their page, and will just tie up multiple editors discussing why they should be deleted.
