This template shows the number of articles formerly featured on Did you know that have gone on to become either featured articles, featured lists, or good articles.
The numbers in this table are derived from the numbers in the following categories (using the magic word ((PAGESINCATEGORY:))):
In turn, these categories are populated by the template ((ArticleHistory)) that is present in the talk pages of good and featured content. (In short, if the ArticleHistory data shows both a date when the article was featured on DYK, and a line saying the article is currently an FA, FL, or GA, the template adds the text [[Category:Wikipedia Did you know articles that are X]] to the talk page, which causes the article to be included in the category).
Because of this, there are several reasons that an article which meets the criteria (has been featured on DYK, and is now an FA, FL, or GA) might not show up in the categories:
