Backround

Mamalebe Damaris Tjatji was born on the 10th December 1982 in Marapyane Mpumalanga province. She is the last born of Samuel Tjatji and Rebecca Tjatji. She started school at Selallo Moepi pre-school at the age of 4. She then went to Ikageleng Primary school until she passed her Standard 4(Grade 6 and went to study at Masekaseka Middle School until Standard 7(Grade 9). She started high school in 1998 at Khamane High School until she matriculated in 2000. She is blessed with two daughters namely Kgalalelo and Khumo.

Early career

In 2002 she started her National Diploma in Information Technology(IT) specialising in Software Development at Technikon North West(TUT- Ga-Rankuwa). She then dropped out in 2006 and started working for KTSD Training Center as an IT Auditor. She got retrenched in 2011 from KTSD Training Center. In 2012 she went back to Tshwane University of Technology to further her IT National Diploma. She finished her IT studies and started volunteering at Marapyane College of Agriculture.

Current career

In 2014 she worked for Rockwell Diamonds in the Northern Cape province as Data Systems Administrator until she got retrenched in 2016. She studied for BTech in IT at TUT. In 2017 She joined military and got trained for Basic Military Training at SA Air Force Gymnasium in Hoedspruit. She left the military and worked for Mine Health and Safety Council in 2018 as an IT Application and Security Support.
