Born in Tadcaster, Yorkshire on the 24th of March 1951. From the early 1980's right up until 2005, he was a leading figure in the European Computer Games Industry. He was responsible for setting up companies in Germany for Prism Leisure Corporation plc, GT Interactive, UK Gold BV, Midas Interactive Ltd, Phoenix Interactive BV and Cosmi inc. He was instrumental in the introduction of innovative Computer Games Compilations via such companies as Topware GmbH, Prism Leisure Tonträger GmbH and Karstadt own label compilations. In the early 1980's he personally sold 1.5 million Mastertronic Computer Games in a calender year. In 1996 he sold over 100.000 versions of the famous "Aber Hallo" games compilation in Germany, winning a litigation case against him for wrongful use of the name by a Mr. Frank Elstner, a German TV Quiz Show host resulting in highly prized press in the Bild Zeitung, Germany's mass circulation newspaper.

In 1997 he founded a Software Label called "Die Heiermann Reihe" together with Harald Meyer of Media Verlag GmbH. Entering into an exclusive sales agreement with the Karstadt group he sold 1 million units in a little under 6 months. Milestone figures for this kind of budget utility software.

Furthermore he was engaged by many companies as a consultant including, Midas Interactive Ltd, Blue Byte Software GmbH, Micro Händler GmbH, ACP Computer GmbH, Rushware GmbH, Cosmi Inc., Guildhall Leisure Ltd, AAA Software Ltd, Phoenix Interactive GmbH, Digital Integration Ltd and Prism Leisure Corporation plc.

Speaking German and Dutch as well as his native English he has lived in Germany since 1967. His main line of business currently is English Training in German based companies such as Continental, Intel and Thyssen-Krupp. He is still very active in business consultancy and online trading.
