Checkra1n is a security exploit for iOS used for jailbreaking.It is the first publicly available jailbreak for iOS 13.[1]

It exploits a vulnerability in the boot rom.

Apple is not able to fix the vulnerability, because the boot rom cannot be modified after manufactoring.[2]
