[edit]

Piero Pizzali was born in Miraflores, Lima, Perú and grew up in the district of Callao up until he was 8 years old and moved to the United States.[2] In 2012 he graduated from high school in Webberville, Michigan where he played Varsity Baseball in his Junior year.[4][5]

Career

[edit]

He always wanted to be an actor since he was little and in 2010 at the age of 16 he began looking into commercials and acting agencies. At the age of 18 he was going to be in a commercial for his parent's store but unfortunately plans were canceled. At age 17 he modeled a tuxedo at his school in order to promote a local company during prom week.[2] He got caught up with school and work and wasn't able to look into acting for a while. After finishing school he worked in a number of factories and in 2014 ended up doing a shoot for an instruction manual for one of them. Later in April of 2015 he got 2 antagonistic roles and worked the boom microphone in a short film called Man's Best Friend that was done in Ionia, MI.[6] In July 2015 he made a two hour trip from his home in Michigan to Auburn, Indiana to audition for the role of the flower delivery guy in the film Thy Neighbor.[7] He didn't get the part but did work as an extra in the movie. The following year he starred as a zombie in a mock energy drink commercial called Undead. In the fall of 2016 he played a derby spectator in the Netflix original movie Little Evil which premeired in 2017.[8][9] In early 2017 he participated in the online game show Dunk The Gabs done for a local business in Flint, Michigan called The Dunk Tank Company where he was a contestant and was also interviewed about his acting career.[10]

Later that year he also took part as an extra in a film called Into A Dark Mind which was later renamed Abstruse.[11] [12]In 2018 the movie Rec Man premiered in which he played Pete (a.k.a Enforcer Wreck Man), one of the main antagonist, and also did his own stunts.[13] The movie became available on Amazon Prime at the end of 2020.[14][15] In 2019 the film Iced Out premiered were he played the role of Tony Morenz.[16] The movie was pre-selected for the Cannes Film Festival in 2020.[17] He then played the role of Paco in the short film called SunnyDance. He then starred in the short film The Spoon That Whacks The Cradle where he played the role of a Mexican mover named Jesús. For his role in this film he received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor in the short film category at the 2019 I See You Awards.[18] A month later he won the award but his first name was misspelled on the award.[19] He spoke about the award and his career in a post ceremony interview with Phil Elam.[20] Early in 2020 he played a man on the street on the second teaser for the movie Brayson Black.[21] This was his last role before moving back to Perú to pursue his career there but unfortunately his career is on hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic. In 2021 he returned to Michigan and in October of that year he participated in the short film Reaping The Base which was part of the Detroit 48 Hour Film Project.[22]
