Somerset Space Walk

Using Sandbox 2 and aiming for a DYK - should be easy

  1. Create in sandbox
  2. See Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail for suitable categories
  3. Useful personal webpage (Wheeler family) of walk (with further links and set of photos)
  4. See Otford (also mentioned on prev. link) for 'claim'
  5. See Solar system model which seems to miss the Somerset model!
  6. See Sweden Solar System which is generally regarded as the largest scale model...
  7. add links: Waterscape.com, leaflet (pdf)
  8. Add text+refs from the pdf leaflet
  9. Continue using the Waterscape.com page for snippets (but use other refs first)
  10. Pictures of Sun and Jupiter available at Geograph (NOT available at STE!!)
  11. Utilise Parrett People Issue 15
  12. Any sign of refs to walk at http://www.somerset-waterways.org/ (who are associated with the model)? It is mentioned, in passing.
  13. Calculate distance of Mars from Sun
  14. Add coords of Sun model Someone else can do this!
  15. Email Somerset Waterways Development Trust or Somerset County Council with queries (see below) done + partly successful
  16. Once 'live', add to:
  17. Determine suitable 'hook' for DYK + submit -- see article talk page
  18. Create (hidden) table of coords for each planet and then contact Andy MabbottSomeone else can do this!
