February 2023

  1. National film registry": nominated at RfD; Target: National Film Registry (notified); notified RBBrittain (talk · contribs) 19:48, 8 February 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: The only reason this redirect was created was because the NFR website used to host an erroneous external link to Wikipedia very long ago (click on "Wikipedia entries for each Registry film and year of induction"). However, the title would actually be National Film Registry", with different capitalization. And in any case, the current page no longer links to Wikipedia, so this redirect can be safely deleted. Also per WP:UNNATURAL. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 19:48, 8 February 2023 (UTC)
  2. Reynell (disamiguation): nominated at RfD; Target: Reynell (notified); notified AllTheUsernamesAreInUse (talk · contribs) 22:47, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Declined R3. I still think that this title should be deleted, per WP:RDAB, because redirects with incorrect qualifiers are almost always pointless and unnecessary. Disambiguators exist only for the purpose of, er, disambiguation, and they aren't natural search terms.

March 2023

  1. Ohio abortion: nominated at RfD; Target: 2022 Ohio child-rape and Indiana abortion case (notified); notified Jax 0677 (talk · contribs) 16:51, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: At the time this redirect was created, the target article was titled "2022 Ohio abortion" [1], but even then it wasn't the most appropriate target, as Abortion in Ohio has existed for a long time and is about a much more general topic. I suggest a retarget to Abortion in Ohio. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 16:51, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
  2. Makad Jaala - A Political Trap: nominated at RfD; Target: Social film (notified); notified Bovineboy2008 (talk · contribs) 02:50, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is the title of a film which isn't mentioned at the target, nor on any other article [2]. Note that the shorter title "Makad Jaala" was deleted as a totally implausible redirect. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 02:50, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
  3. Wikipedia:Digits: nominated at RfD; Target: Project Digits (notified); notified Pppery (talk · contribs) 13:17, 24 March 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Implausible CNR from Wikipedia to article namespace. Strangely, the redirect page uses the DISPLAYTITLE magic word in order to display "Project: Digits". I don't know what purpose this redirect serves, but in the absence of a valid rationale it should either be deleted or retargeted to Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Dates and numbers#Grouping of digits. I have a slight preference for the latter however, as the differently capitalised redirect WP:DIGITS also points to that section.

April 2023

  1. Pros and Cons of the Euro: nominated at RfD; Target: Euro (notified) 19:07, 13 April 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: I'm not nominating this redirect on the basis of the unusual title, but because the target is too broad for it to be useful. I could understand if, for example, it pointed to a section named "Support and criticism", or even just "Response" or "Reception". The article on the euro doesn't have any of these sections (Criticism of the European Union is a redirect to Euroscepticism). The redirect also doesn't have page history or mainspace backlinks worth preserving. For all these reasons, it should be deleted as a costly title.
  2. Harassment of W. Duncan: nominated at RfD; Target: Harassment (notified); notified Pinar (talk · contribs) 02:28, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Delete. This redirect was the result of a page-move vandalism (see the edit summary here). It has existed since 2006 however, so I preferred to bring it here rather than unilaterally speedying it. There is zero chance of it being linked from external sites. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 02:28, 16 April 2023 (UTC)

May 2023

  1. Roy Hill (dismabiguation) (disambiguation): nominated at RfD; Target: Roy Hill (disambiguation) (notified) 18:39, 14 May 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: WP:RDAB. This redirect is not a plausible or useful title because of the double disambiguation and typo. Unfortunately, the speedy criterion R3 is no longer valid, otherwise I would have tagged this redirect already. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 18:39, 14 May 2023 (UTC)
  2. Excalibur (make a separate article): nominated at RfD; Target: Project Excalibur (notified); notified Johnson-81 (talk · contribs) 19:57, 16 May 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: This redirect was created two years ago by a new user, seemingly as a request to have a second article on either the target topic or on Excalibur, which wouldn't be allowed per WP:REDUNDANTFORK. Anyway, delete it because of the implausible title and the lack of page history. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 19:57, 16 May 2023 (UTC)
  3. Zane Wederell: nominated at RfD; Target: The Game (mind game) (notified); notified Cbz123 (talk · contribs) 02:41, 22 May 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Not mentioned at the target or any other article. My Google searches point to a completely non-notable person, who apparently doesn't have any connection to the target topic. This is basically a spam redirect. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 02:41, 22 May 2023 (UTC)
  4. Collabororporation: nominated at RfD; Target: Hipster (contemporary subculture) (notified); notified Thepicklesolution (talk · contribs) 02:19, 26 May 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Redirect from a non-existent term; the user who created it hasn't made any other edit. Pageviews are not promising either. If there was ever an speedy deletion criterion for "terms with zero Google hits", this redirect would be an example of it. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 02:19, 26 May 2023 (UTC)

June 2023

  1. UserːEagledj/sandbox/John Warner White: nominated at RfD; Target: John Warner White (notified); notified MatthewVanitas (talk · contribs) 01:46, 6 June 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Why am I nominating this redirect? Look at the character after "User": it is not a colon, but instead the rare Modified Letter Triangular Colon. This means that the redirect is technically in mainspace. It's neither a plausible search term for a single person nor is it beneficial to Eagledj, who cannot freely edit it or reach it from their subpage index. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 01:46, 6 June 2023 (UTC)
  2. El Bronco (wrestler), Bronco (Dominican wrestler), Bronco (Puerto Rican wrestler): nominated at RfD; Target: Ramón Álvarez (wrestler) (notified) 18:35, 7 June 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: I doubt someone would search for this wrestler by typing his ring name three times, with each instance preceding a different parenthetical qualifier.
Note that this redirect was created as part of a request at AFC/RC. The IP most likely wanted to create three separate redirects, but the link was malformed and the reviewer misunderstood the request. If some editor wants to create Bronco (Dominican wrestler) or Bronco (Puerto Rican wrestler) (El Bronco (wrestler) already exists), they are free to do so, but I don't think that this redirect is remotely plausible.
      Ping the redirect reviewer @L293D:
  3. Wikipedia:Molly Weasley: nominated at MfD; notified PugtatoDog (talk · contribs) 15:19, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is a draft article created in the wrong namespace, and I was about to move it to draftspace and give the user a personalized message before noticing that Draft:Molly Weasley already exists. Should it be deleted, userfied, or redirected? I don't have a strong opinion on any option. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 15:19, 20 June 2023 (UTC)

July 2023

  1. WikiProject Amphibians and Reptiles: nominated at RfD; Target: Wikipedia:WikiProject Amphibians and Reptiles (notified); notified DoctorWho42 (talk · contribs) 18:21, 7 July 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Initially I was thinking of just ignoring it, but now I'm increasingly doubting its potential usefulness. This recently created redirect has zero incoming links (unlike titles like WikiProject Football, WikiProject Military history or WikiProject Biography, which have each tens of incoming links but are still red links), and its pageviews are quite low (other than the initial spike, most of the other hits were probably mine).
Eventually a line needs to be drawn between those cross-namespace redirects that are worth retaining (e.g. the "MOS:" shortcuts), and those that aren't (for example, a mainspace redirect to an archived talk page like Wikipedia/Archive 25). This redirect fits squarely into the latter camp. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 18:21, 7 July 2023 (UTC)
  2. Ɱ/171-191 South High Street: nominated at RfD; Target: 171-191 South High Street (notified); notified  (talk · contribs) 00:02, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Implausible title because of the "Ɱ"; it was the result of an accidental move by , the article's author, and was soon corrected two minuter later. At the same time, this title is not so egregious as to meet criterion G5. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 00:02, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
  3. Jilfi/Itzhak Druker: nominated at RfD; Target: Itzhak Drucker (notified); notified Jilfi (talk · contribs) 00:02, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Like the RfDs above and below, this redirect is prefixed with the username of the article's creator, which makes it automatically implausible. The only reason I haven't speedied it yet is because the username is short, and as a result it is not prima facie "unambiguously created in error". Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 00:02, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
  4. Auric/Hyena (Malawi): nominated at RfD; Target: Sexual rites of passage (notified); notified Auric (talk · contribs) 00:10, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Here is another unlikely redirect prefixed with an username. The article in question, Sexual cleansing (see its page history), was at this title for less than one minute. The redirect doesn't cross the threshold into being "speedyable" due to the length of the username, but I don't see how it can be useful in any way. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 00:10, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
  5. 3eni/Rico Tscharntke: nominated at RfD; Target: Bergpartei, die "ÜberPartei" (notified); notified 3eni (talk · contribs) 00:10, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Unnecessary redirect containing a username, about a person who isn't currently mentioned in the article, resulting from an erroneous page move that lasted for one minute. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 00:10, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
  6. Wishlist/MD (Ayurveda): nominated at RfD; Target: MD (Ayurveda) (notified); notified Netha Hussain (talk · contribs) 00:10, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
  7. UncleKenneth/Kenneth turner: nominated at RfD; Target: Kenneth Turner (notified); notified UncleKenneth (talk · contribs) 00:10, 20 July 2023 (UTC)

August 2023

  1. User:28 cm Howitzer L/10: nominated at RfD; Target: 28 cm howitzer L/10 (notified); notified Chris.w.braun (talk · contribs) 19:17, 8 August 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is a redirect from a non-existent user. The creator of the target article had accidentally moved their draft from User:Chris.w.braun/sandbox to this title, and subsequently to WP:28 cm Howitzer L/10 (which was deleted as G6). I don't think that this title is useful. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 19:17, 8 August 2023 (UTC)
  2. Riku Matsuda (footballer, born 19919): nominated at RfD; Target: Riku Matsuda (footballer, born 1991) (notified) 02:38, 26 August 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is an ambiguous and implausible error – a change of target to Riku Matsuda (footballer, born 1999) would be just as valid, so I suppose the XY rationale is also applicable. – This redirect resulted from a page move and should have been deleted at the time. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 02:38, 26 August 2023 (UTC)

September 2023

  1. Vacation (2054 film): nominated at RfD; Target: National Lampoon's Vacation (film series) (notified); notified Rusted AutoParts (talk · contribs) 18:06, 20 September 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: No film in the series is set to be released in 2054. The redirect's page history suggests that this title is a typo for Vacation (2014 film) (which is itself a bit of a misnomer, because the film was only released on July 2015). Delete as an implausible typo. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 18:06, 20 September 2023 (UTC)

October 2023

  1. Wikipedia:Binding: nominated at RfD; Target: Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Ireland article names (notified); notified PhilKnight (talk · contribs) 14:04, 12 October 2023 (UTC)

November 2023

  1. Workspace/Dark Harvest (2016 film): nominated at RfD; Target: Dark Harvest (2016 film) (notified); notified Fortdj33 (talk · contribs) 17:52, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is an implausible title, because "Workspace/Dark Harvest" is not an alternative name of the film. It's rather a reference to MichaelQSchmidt's space for drafts (see this index and the initial edit summary). I considered speedying this under G6 before, but I thought the error was not immediately obvious. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 17:52, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
  2. Stanford Downey Architects Inc.: nominated at RfD; Target: Architect (notified); notified Gary (talk · contribs) 02:32, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
  3. Graziani + Corazza: nominated at RfD; Target: Architect (notified); notified Gary (talk · contribs) 02:32, 10 November 2023 (UTC)

December 2023

  1. Guerre Israélo-Palestinien octobre 2023: nominated at RfD; Target: 2023 Israel–Hamas war (notified); notified DRIS92 (talk · contribs) 18:58, 10 December 2023 (UTC)
  2. Hostile behavior: nominated at RfD; Target: Cruelty (notified); notified Proud User (talk · contribs) 17:46, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Not all hostile behaviour can be considered cruelty. "Hostile behavior" is a far closer topic to Hostility than the current target, and I suggest that this redirect be retargeted there. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 17:46, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
  3. Being mean: nominated at RfD; Target: Cruelty (notified); notified Proud User (talk · contribs) 17:46, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: There is an article on the more general topic meanness, even though the article in its current state is heavily tilted towards the philosophical side. I don't see a strong reason for deleting this redirect, so I think it should instead be retargeted to Meanness. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 17:46, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
  4. 2014themovie: nominated at RfD; Target: Apollo Theatre (notified); notified 2012thefilm (talk · contribs) 18:15, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Not mentioned in the target article or anywhere else. The relationship between this title and the theatre is not clear. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 18:15, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
  5. Moby dick movie 1995: nominated at RfD; Target: St. Elmo's fire (notified); notified Muke (talk · contribs) 18:31, 27 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: I haven't found any film named "Moby-Dick" that was released in 1995. The target article only briefly mentions the novel (#In literature) and a 1954 film (#In film). This redirect should be deleted for having a nonsensical title (which is also poorly capitalized). Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 18:31, 27 December 2023 (UTC)

  1. SQ/200: nominated at RfD; Target: El Rubius (notified); notified Soetermans (talk · contribs) 09:53, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
  2. Chhindwara - Gwalior Express: nominated at RfD; Target: Passenger (notified); notified Chotdilpelagi (talk · contribs) 17:50, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
  3. Strigosella (gastropodl): nominated at RfD; Target: Strigosella (gastropod) (notified); notified Plantdrew (talk · contribs) 11:35, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: "Gastropodl" is not a plausible typo. What likely happened here is that an attempt was made to move Strigosella (animal) to the current title "Strigosella (gastropod)" [3] but the "l" was accidentally left behind. There is no instance of this typo anywhere on the project. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 11:35, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
  4. NoneOm123: nominated at RfD; Target: Oliver Muoto (notified); notified Smjg (talk · contribs) 11:47, 24 January 2024 (UTC)
  5. Awit 101866: nominated at RfD; Target: Alejandro G. Abadilla (notified); notified LionFosset (talk · contribs) 19:04, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: There is nothing in the article or anywhere else called "Awit 101866". My searches likewise couldn't find anything related to Abadilla containing this cryptic number. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 19:04, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
  6. DJ Hype Wills 2088: nominated at RfD; Target: Hype Williams (notified); notified Piazzajordan2 (talk · contribs) 19:02, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: There is no indication that "DJ Hype Wills 2088" is a name by which the subject of the article is commonly known. From my online searches, this name only appears twice – in a Facebook account [4], with content copy-pasted from Wikipedia, as well as a forum post (the comment in question was posted after this redirect's creation).
