Jean Lyal Christie (10 July 1899 - ) was a Scottish painter.[1]
Her father was James Mitchell Christie, a planter of the Moolgama Estate in Ceylon.[2]
Her mother had maiden surname Blyth.
Jean Lyal Christie was born on 10 July 1899 in 7 Polwarth Cresent, Newington, Edinburgh.[3]
She married the artist James Gray (23 April 1892 - 4 April 1947) from Burntisland.[4][5] They married at the Dunbarney Parish Church at the Bridge of Earn on 11 August 1926.[6]
