Tom Connan (born September 3, 1995, in London)[1] is a singer, actor[2] and author. His music videos and novels were mentioned by several media, including L'Obs,[3] Mediapart,[4] Public Sénat[5] and Radio France Internationale.[6]
Born in 1995,[7] he began doing music independently while studying at HEC Paris and released his debut EP in 2017.[8] His musical work was mentioned by several media, in France[9][10][11][12] and in English-speaking countries.[13][14]
In 2017, he published the satire book 'Le Camp' under the pseudonym of Nathan Comons,[15] based on his student experience at HEC Paris. His novel was widely reported by French media, including L'Obs,[3] Le Bondy blog,[16] Mediapart,[17] France Culture,[18] Radio France Internationale[6] and Sud Radio.[19] He debated with Jean-Michel Blanquer, Minister of National Education and former director of ESSEC Business School on Public Sénat[5] about his book and higher education, especially business schools.
In October 2018, he published 'En Marge !', his second novel.[20]
During the Me Too movement, he said in L'Obs that he had been the victim of sexual harassment and claimed that boys -i.e. not only girls- were also affected by this major problem.[21]
