The Gelboys is a Filipino Rock and roll band formed in 1985 in Quezon City, in was schooled in Maryknoll College.Their released an album called “The Gelboys” in 1986 with 8 songs.[1] Albert Villanueva mentioned that he has cousins named Randy, Joey & Robin Concepcion who were members of the Gelboys band in the 1980s. Joey Concepcion, the bass guitarist of the band died.

Gelboys also TV appearances such as That's Entertainment, Oh No It's Johnny!, The Penthouse Live, GMA Supershow, Eat Bulaga!, & Student Canteen.

Influences

Their influences included Chuck Berry, Stray Cats, John Travolta, Elvis Presley, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, and Frank Sinatra.
