Hi! This is very useful template. There are a number of red links, though. I'm trying to drum up interest in creating a Wikiproject or task force to improve the hundreds of bluegrass articles on Wikipedia. Anyone interested please leave me a message at: User talk:Anne Delong/Bluegrass Topics Those red links in the template would make good task for such a group. I've started gathering some material at: User:Anne Delong/Bluegrass Topics. In the mean time, I'll be adding this template to pages that I come across. Thanks for creating it.—Anne Delong (talk) 23:19, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
As far as I know, a template like this (that isn't exhaustive, as say an NBA team's roster) usually shouldn't have redlinks. Especially so in a category called "notable festivals" (notability having a specific meaning on Wikipedia). I don't know enough about bluegrass to know if those festivals pass notability criteria but just haven't been created yet or if they should be removed (or both)? --— Rhododendrites talk \\ 15:36, 13 October 2014 (UTC)
A while ago, someone told me that Bluegrass predated country music and country music spun off from it, so I think country music is actually a subgenre of Bluegrass, not the other way around. We should make changes to this template (and the one for Country music) to reflect that. 47.36.25.163 (talk) 21:29, 20 March 2022 (UTC)
