Hm, not sure what to make of the whole paid editing thing so I'll just ignore it. I trust you.
Age and length are okay. I can't attest to much of the copyright concerns due to how much the article uses offline sources that I can't find on Google. But I hesitated a bit when seeing he was sick as a child and didn't walk until he was almost 6 years old (source: Martin was so sickly that he didn't walk until he was nearly six years old), but I suppose there's only so many ways to convey that information in words.
I feel like there's something to be said about the use of BYU vs Brigham Young University throughout the article, but that's nothing damning.
The university dedicated the Thomas L. Martin Building, known as the "MARB," after him. It sounds a bit awkward as is, could you rephrase?
The first proposed hook is good, and I'll AGF that the second is as well (the main online source says He was considered for a position at Cornell but was refused because of his religion, which is a bit different, could you transcribe the excerpt from the offline source?).
(disclaimer: It's been a while since I've reviewed a DYK, so another pair of eyes would be appreciated). →Σσς. (Sigma) 21:41, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
