  • Does not meet the 7 day requirement. The article was created on August 10 and has not been expanded 5 times in the past week. Sorry, Gronk Oz. Make sure you look at the eligility criteria before your next try. RockMagnetist (DCO visiting scholar) (talk) 13:46, 12 September 2017 (UTC)
The trick is to create the article in the userspace, and move it to the mainspace when it is ready. However, given that (1) the article was created on 10 August, and that there are still older articles in the queue and (2) is of good quality, I am invoking WP:IAR and passing the article anyway. Article is long enough, fully referenced. Main hook is fine, supported by online reference. ALT1 also fine, supported by online reference, but main hook preferred. Good to go, unless someone objects. • Thanks for that. I guess I should have spelled out that the article was promoted to MainSpace on 9 September, not originally created then. This is the process described in option (d) of the "New" eligibility criteria at WP:DYKRULES. Sorry if this caused any confusion. Gronk Oz (talk) 02:27, 13 September 2017 (UTC)
