The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: pages not moved to the proposed titles at this time, per the discussion below. Dekimasuよ! 15:19, 26 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
– Move to more complete name, this title appears to get less than 75% of the views (probably less as there are many topics) and "Woodstock Festival" appears to be its proper name. Woodstock, Oxfordshire is as pointed out at Talk:Woodstock also quite well known because of Blenheim Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where Winston Churchill was born. It could also be moved to Woodstock Music & Art Fair but that looks too complete to be a common name. People refer to the Latitude Festival as "Latitude" but that's still an incomplete name. I doubt that there is a clear WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for the unqualified term "Woodstock" but the festival should probably be the first item on the DAB. Oppose. Even if the title changes the festival would still be the overwhelming primary topic for the term "Woodstock". Not that I think it needs to move. —Xezbeth (talk) 10:22, 19 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. A good faith nom, but, with the 50th anniversary next year, by the time we got to Woodstock the opposes were half a million strong? Randy Kryn (talk) 13:43, 19 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Support to the residents of Oxfordshire Woodstock means Woodstock. In ictu oculi (talk) 17:08, 19 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose Per the many previous failed move requests.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 03:49, 20 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The previous proposals were closed as "no consensus" which might well be that the primary topic claim had not been fully supported, in any case Wikipedia:Consensus can change. Crouch, Swale (talk) 08:14, 20 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
