Comment: * IMDB is not typically an appropriate source. However this is an uncontroversial fact and the film itself can also be a source for plot/cast per WP:MOSFILM
Article has been expanded from approx 200 characters of prose to over 2000 characters of prose on the day of nomination
Article expansion is sufficient and recent. Hook fact is currently not cited inline in the article, though – you can probably use the Tim Allen article's source to put there. Still, I feel like the hook will cause readers to go "who's Tim Allen"? Juxlos (talk) 09:11, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Juxlos: ty for reviewing. The article is about the film itself, and technically the film is the citation because he is in the cast, plus Allen's article is linked. I added the IMDB filmography for Allen to the article though, so it is now cited inline to comply with criteria. Thank you MaxnaCarta (talk) 23:20, 28 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Dahn I did note this in my nomination. I understand it is not typically reliable source however this is merely his filmography. A film itself can be the source of certain uncontroversial information. There is no question the film features Tim Allen. The film itself is the source for this. And it's the first entry of Tim Allen recorded. Also noted here in his filmography on TV Guide (a perennial reliable source). TY MaxnaCarta (talk) 01:52, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@MaxnaCarta: then why not use the TV Guide as your source? Dahn (talk) 05:54, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also here's a source which appears reliable, and which you can use in the article for Allen's presence in the film, for this being his film debut (something not stated outright by the TV Guide), as well as for generic critical commentary on the film itself. Dahn (talk) 06:12, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks @Dahn: for that. I amended the source to the one you found. Appreciate the help. Are you ready to tick this one off now? MaxnaCarta (talk) 23:49, 3 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@MaxnaCarta: doesn't seem that you did. The hook is still based on the IMDB source, quoted in the lead. Dahn (talk) 03:12, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Dahn: all done. Sorry, only did it for this nom. MaxnaCarta (talk) 03:15, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I took the liberty of adding more from the source I proposed instead of IMDB (also some other minor edits for consistency, flow etc.). The hook verifies the hook, needless to say. Good job, MaxnaCarta! Dahn (talk) 04:24, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks very much for the assistant Dahn. Appreciate it. MaxnaCarta (talk) 04:56, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
