Toyota Prius was a good articles nominee, but did not meet the good article criteria at the time. There may be suggestions below for improving the article. Once these issues have been addressed, the article can be renominated. Editors may also seek a reassessment of the decision if they believe there was a mistake.

There was a major improvement when it switched to lithium ion. What year was that and why is it not in the Wikipedia? 24.130.64.88 (talk) 04:09, 26 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Do you have a supporting reference for this? If so, please feel free to add it to the article. It's not there only because people who know about it never added it. Stepho talk 05:00, 26 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I searched the web for a few minutes and found that it gets complicated quickly. it seems that some models in some markets started getting Lithium Ion for the 2015 model year (ie, mid 2014 calendar year). But it depends on whether it is the 2WD or AWD model, the normal or plug-in model, normal Prius or Prius V, country and the temperature range of where it is sold (Lithium Ion seeming to be more sensitive to cold and/or heat). Far more complicated than I personally want to go chasing. Please feel free to research it and add to the article. Stepho talk 05:14, 26 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
What’s the average life expectancy of a Prius ? Right now their selling for double the price and double the mileage than they did just a few months ago. Mileage being well over 200.000 and selling for thousands more than they should be 50.39.233.233 (talk) 16:34, 8 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Life expectancy is roughly the same as any other car. The current raise in second-hand prices is across the board for almost all cars, not specific to the Prius, and is due to supply chain problems with new cars. These are not Prius specific issues. Stepho talk 22:46, 8 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It would be nice to list all UK models, with specs. If these are the same as US models, then this could be shown clearly. Ctrl-alt-delor (talk) 22:08, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Japan centric is natural because it's a Japanese vehicle. American centric tends to happen because, well, Americans are a chatty bunch.
Wikipedia runs on the volunteer system. Which means that if we want more UK and European details then typically we need more UK and/or European volunteers to write it. I'm Australian, so it probably won't be me. I assume you are from the UK. In which case you are perfectly suited to do some research and add the information (with references to reliable sources). Don't worry to much about formatting, etc - we'll help you where needed. Stepho talk 22:43, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Most of the sales data after 2017 have not been filled out, someone needs to volunteer to find the right resources to fill it out. MoCars (talk) 09:57, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
